About Book

Twenty-one year old Grayson Alexander finally breaks away from an abusive relationship and finds herself free for the first time in three years.

Determined to enjoy her new-found freedom, Grayson is intent on sticking with 'no strings attached' relationships—one-night stands, and steamy sex.

But she didn't plan on Derrick.

Her attraction to the sexy man in uniform quickly turns into an unhealthy relationship. They both try to resist the pull, but neither can stay away.

When tragedy strikes, Grayson realizes it's now or never—walk away or make it work

My Thoughts

Okay I woke up at 10 am and made my coffee and waffles and dug into this book and at 5 pm stomach growling I was finishing the book. OMG this was an amazing read. I fell in love with Grayson right from the start, lord that girl what a mess of a relationship she was in but oh her strength to finally realize she had to get away, and to actually go through with it. I was rooting her on from the start.

Her twin sister Luna yeah I loved her too - totally opposite of Grayson but almost like her other half, the part of her she wasn't was in Luna and vice versa. And though I admit Grayson did a few things that I wouldn't do or condone for that matter she sure was having fun with those gorgeous men while doing it LOL I will give her that.

But Derrick oh man can I say my tongue hung out the entire time he was around, I think I drooled more over him than any guy in a book in a while. Phew I love a man in uniform but his calm, cool, demeanor and his undeniably good looks. And his hidden secret, he was a package I would have gone for if Grayson weren't in the picture. :)

I loved the chemistry these two had, and was laughing when Grayson was laying out the ground rules for their "secret" relationship. One that was supposed to be forbidden per her brother and others in her family. But a girl has to follow her heart right. And hey if mom says he is the one then who is to argue that.

The constant doubts, trust issues, then the accident, the truth coming out on both sides. MMMMmmm made for a great story.

The sex scenes in this book are phenomenal quiet detailed I must say, thank goodness for the air conditioner because I am telling you my poor kindle was steaming throughout this book.

The author does a fabulous job drawing you in, telling you about the characters, making you feel a part of the story, like you are one of the characters involved right there watching all of it unfold before your eyes. Hands down this is an A+++ book and hope that the author might continue their story. I so would love to see what happens with Grayson and Derrick.
