My Thoughts and Review

What a heart warming romance between Matthew And Rhiannon. The book was definitely a page turner from the beginning to the end.Such and engrossing plot twist from the beginning you cold not put the book down. Two souls meet when they need it the most. Matthew feeling lost and Rhiannon feeling said. The two mixed well together even they Rhiannon took and instant hate to the Earl things turned around quickly. These two needed each other but, didn't really know it.The stars had this odd couple fated together. Who would have thought ?

Ciara , Rhiannon sister which the seer. The story starts out easily and becomes more complex as something starts to happen to the earl he is unable to feed and the only one who can help him is Rhiannon.A vampire unable to eat and it seems like he is dying will the little witch be able to help the handsome vampire with her magic or her blood?

One of the things I enjoy about this series is the interactions of all the different past cast members the Lycan's and the vampires the characters are so enjoyable fun and give you ton of laughs. I laughed through this book to the beginning to the end. This series keeps getting better and better.I was rooting for Rhiannon's happiness from the beginning What a heart felt romance. A Recommended read for all.

Our Review

This is going to be a quick one for me. This was not a favorite read for me. The others reviewers impressions were you either loved it or its just and okay read. I had a lot of problems with this story that turned me off. One of them was the going back and forth one minute in  the present and them your in the past.I hate books that skip around like that you have a hard time keeping track whats what. The other thing is that this is a romance book right ? It was very lacking in that department. I think I would have liked the story more if there was more involvement with this couple in working on renewing there relationship.I felt the story was rushed.I don't mind the spy stuff making it part of the plot is okay but when it consumes the plot is not a book for me. The things that I did like were that basically two hardened spy's who survived war found a love in one another and a chance for a Happily ever after. I love Joanna books and I so wanted to get into this book and like it more as all her other books were 5 star reads for me this story had high hopes for me but I found it lacking.

Tully Sullivan is just like any other suburban mom—unless you count the days every year that she zones out and turns base metals in to gold. Those are weird.

And now she’s woken up in a strange place surrounded by strange people who keep insisting they’re dragons—and that she’s one too. But not just any dragon. She’s Ysolde de Bouchier, a famed figure from dragon history.

Tully can’t shape-shift or breathe fire, and she’s definitely not happy being sentenced to death for the misdeeds of a dragon mate she can’t remember. All Tully knows is that she wants her son back. So she’ll have to find a way to solve the crimes of a past she has no memory of living…

Our Review

I have to say this is one of the funniest books I ever read.Tully Sullivan is living with a family and is going to apprentice school to learning how to become a powerful mage. One day out of no-where a handsome devil shows up at her parents house and the next thing she knows she waking up a week later in a strange place people telling her she is Ysolde and that she is a silver Dragon and her warrior husband is Baltic one of the most powerful Dragons of all time. She thinks she landed in a funny farm . She is not a Dragon she keeps telling them she is married to a man named Garth and has a son Brom and she is an apprentice to a mage. But, Tully learns later on that the family who she thought was hers was indeed protecting her for her real mother who gave birth to her.

Baltic and her hook up but, she has no recollection of him.The sparks fly though from there very first kiss . Slowly things start coming back little by little she is having recollections in her dreams she is dreaming about her one true love Baltic. But she is married and has a family. Now she has two husbands and one very pissed off warrior/dragon once he learns of this. But, to Baltic he is nothing but, and usurper!

These two had a love that crossed time and found one another again. Something to be grateful for. Baltic is being accused of wiping out eighty something blue dragons and Yosolde is being held responsible for her mates transgressions.Things are not what the seem and the need to unravel this mystery together. Tully /Yosolde needs to learn who she is where she came from before all is lost again which has just been found.

This was a light heart-felt romance. I found the character's to be engaging and tons of fun. Ysolde sense of humor was contagious.I practically laughed throughout this whole book.Baltic was engaging med evil warrior with archaic beliefs with a wife who is living in the modern times. As you can imagine they butt heads quite a lot and the scenes on the pages doing so are just hilarious! This is part of a series and I am looking forward to the next book in the series coming out in May.It was a fun journey that Tully took us on learning how to be a dragon as she knows nothing of being one all the while never giving up her current thought that she is just good old Tully the mage's apprentice and not a very good one.....

Our Review

I have had this in my to read pile for sometime. I love Kenyons books but, I was hesitant about reading this series not really sure why but after reading the back cover I was thinking this is not the kind of book for me.Well, I was so wrong ! Wow this book was action packed to the beginning to the end. This story had a great story line is packed with action, intrigue and romance.Evalle is an alterant a protector of human life. After being accused of letting three alternant's go free after being locked up she has to find them or go to jail for the accused crime and for those who escaped. She is granted by the Tribunal 3 wishes to call upon in her search for the three escapee's. She cannot have any help from other alterant's in her pursuit she has to do it on her own.The only person who is all about protecting her is her love interest Storm a jaguar shape-shifter and a very hot one at that.

This adventure is wrought with danger in her search for Quinn one of the escapee's if she can convinced him to bring the other alterant's back they may be a way to save each other butts. But, Quinn's got a agenda of his own and not always forth coming and not always telling whole truths. The area she travels to in order or find the escapee's is very dangerous so dangerous one can lose there life. She feels lose and alone.

Evalle has many close calls but, Storm seems to be there at every turn helping her through it all and giving her many hot and sexy encounters that it gets one blood boiling. Just yummy !Action packed story likable and lovable characters found them to be engaging keeping the book a page turner. A recommend read looking forward to the next. This book was the second book in the series so I need to go back a read the first one.A very engaging book..........
