Cover Reveal for Who I Am (FireNine #3) by Shanora Williams

WHO I AM Ecover
Some stories aren’t easy to tell.
Some situations aren’t easy to relive.
But I was raised to be strong—to hold my own. Because of it, I was hurt, torn down, beaten and even had my heart snatched right out of my chest.
But I’m ready now. It’s time for me to speak up. You want to know what really goes on inside my head, well I’m right here.
Real. Raw. Intense.
This is all me. Roy Sykes. This is my story, and trust me… its far from pretty.
Without another second to waste, I open the door and hop out. Loads of screams fill my eardrums, and I fight a smile. I guess, after a while, it feels good to be wanted. To be appreciated. I can’t ask for more enthusiastic fans.
Deed climbs out with his so-called “lucky drumsticks” in hand and waves at the wild girls behind the ropes. They holler at the top of their lungs, clambering over each other, wailing, and stretching their arms for a feel of us as we walk by.
“Roy, you’re so fucking hot! I love you!” one girl says. I don’t know who says it, and I don’t bother looking to find out.
“Deed! Let me have you!” That one isn’t for me, so I keep chugging.
“Roy! Please! Let me touch your hair!” Okay. I admit that one makes me laugh, but again, I don’t look.
“Roy Sykes… remember me?” For some reason, that calm, familiar voice catches my attention. I jerk my gaze up, and as soon as I meet the sky blue eyes I never thought I’d see again, I stop dead in my tracks. The girls continue to holler and reach for me, but I’m in the middle of the runway, shocked… stunned.
She looks the same—actually better. Her hair is longer, her face still flawless. She’s wearing a shimmery silver dress, revealing her long, creamy legs, with heels to match, and seeing her like this—hotter than ever before—leaves me completely speechless.
Taking one last step forward, close enough to see her clearly among the thick crowd, I part my lips, a part of me not wanting to say her name ever again, but a part of me yearning to roll it off my tongue. “Rose?” I murmur.
I’m sure she can’t hear me over the screaming, but I know she’s read my lips because she looks from them to my eyes and nods. “Yes,” she says, thrilled. “It’s me, Roy. Rosemarie Beretta.”

Cover Reveal Fully Automatic (Bullet #4) by Jade C. Jamison

Fully Automatic Cover
You might think you know Brad’s story, but think again. There’s so much more to his story than what Valerie told. See Brad before Valerie came into his life and, when he was playing back burner to Ethan, see what Brad was up to when no one else in the band was looking.
Valerie might have thought she and Brad were inevitable and maybe, in the back of his mind, Brad might have felt that way too, but he didn’t just sit around waiting for her. See the secret side of Brad that you had no idea existed. What kept the driving force behind Fully Automatic focused even while his heart was breaking?
When Brad caught Nick outside the apartment after work, he asked him to take a walk. “How you feeling?”
“What do you mean?”
“Well, the past few weeks have been pretty emotional. You holding up okay, man?”
“Yeah.” Nick shrugged. He was quiet for a little bit but then said, “Things have been a little weird, though.”
“Yeah.” He cleared his throat. “I was thinking about calling a meeting.”
“You think that would help?”
Brad took a deep breath. “Honestly? I have no fucking idea. But…I hate the idea of waiting for the next time, you know? I’d like a promise from Ethan that we’re done with this phase of our lives.”
“You don’t really think he’d make a promise like that, do you?”
“No. Wishful thinking.”
They walked in silence for a minute and then Nick said, “You know what’s going on with Val and Ethan, right?”
A ringing started in his ears, and he felt dread as a shiver tickled his spine. He knew he wasn’t going to like what Nick had to say, but he needed to know. “What?”
Nick stopped walking and Brad turned to face him. “I’m only telling you this because it’s only fair to you. I’m not sure what all is or was going on between you and Val, but I don’t want—anyway, uh…Ethan proposed to Val.”
It felt like the air had been knocked out of his lungs. When he got his bearings, he sucked in a deep breath of air. Had he heard Nick right? “What?”
“Ethan asked Val to marry him. I, uh…don’t know if it’s totally official yet, but…”
Brad couldn’t hear him after that, and it felt as though the world turned black. He already knew. If Ethan proposed, he knew Val accepted. He felt numb.
Somehow he had the presence of mind to say, “Don’t say anything about me and Val to Ethan. That shit’s over.”
“Yeah. No way. It’s not like she was cheating on him.”
Brad felt like he was going to throw up. He grew quiet, walking back to the apartment with Nick, but his mind was trying to find a way to deal with the worst news it had ever received.

Pop … pop … pop … Gun fire rang out as a black cage drove past with its side door wide open. Grabbing my gun, I fired back in quick reaction and dropped behind the porch post. The front door flew open as Princess stormed out, gun pointed and firing with great aim, hitting the cage repeatedly. The shots kept coming, and Princess didn’t flinch or shy away. She ducked a few times, but kept moving.
We were both in a dead sprint to our bikes firing them up and taking off after the cage. Weaving in and out of traffic, we kept on its tail, firing shots back and forth. I couldn’t help the hard-on I got watching Princess shoot while still maneuvering her bike effortlessly. Not the time for that shit.
Pulling up besides the cage, I began shooting rapidly, hitting one of the guys. Princess’s shots hit another who fell out, causing her to stop her bike abruptly, unable to swerve out of the way. Shooting again, I aimed for the tires, but fucking missed as it spun off. There was no way I was leaving her alone out here.
Turning back around, I reached Princess who was down on the ground checking out the shooter. “Dead?”
“Yeah.” Grabbing my phone I called Dagger giving him our current location and advising clean up. I knew it would only take about five minutes before the cavalry came in.
“You all right?” Looking at her, I could see she seemed fine, no blood anywhere, but being a woman you never know how they react to this shit.
“I’m good.” She smiled. “Home, sweet home. You know this guy?”
“Looks like one of Rabbit’s crew.” Damn it. Rabbit’s known for running drugs throughout the state and we have dealings with him. This can’t be good.
“I take it he’s one of the everyone that Diamond wants me to be careful of, huh?” She looked as if she was studying the body before her, lifting up the shirt, taking in all the ink and marks on it totally unfazed she was looking at a dead body.
“Somethin’ like that.” The roar of bikes in the distance snapped me into action. “Get your ass on your bike and go back to Ma’s house. I’ll send some guys over.”
If looks could kill, I’d be lying dead next to the man on the road. “I’m just as much a part of this as you are,” she growled out. It was sexy as hell, but her trying to control shit was gonna stop quick.
“I’m not gonna say it again. Fucking go. Now.” I ordered.
“If you remember, it was my fucking shot that killed the bastard.” She stood up heading towards her bike. I could see in her face it was killing her to have to leave the scene, but she listened and headed back the way we came. I held in my chuckle. Damn woman.
