Dark, Dangerous, and plotting the downfall of the bitter, evil old man that calls him son, Abram Mustafa, Khalid's, half brother on his father's side will not face the most dangerous test of his life. And his heart. When his father kidnaps Khalid's beloved half sister by his mother, and brings her to his Saudi village as a hostage against his son's defection, Abram knows his plans for escape from the terrorist occupied home he's known since his childhood, have suddenly become more imperative than ever before.

With Shane Connor working at his side, he must convince his father of his loyalty, a terrorist commander of his unconcern, and a woman that she's not the center of his heart. And he must do all this while losing the battle to fight the forbidden desires that have haunted his dreams for far too many years where Paige is concerned.

Paige is and has been in love with Abram even though the sparks fly every time there are near one another Abram really only toys with Paige. You understand why he fights the attraction as the book progresses but, he can't be blind to how Paige feels.Abram is part of a government agency along with her brother and a family friend.Abram however was brought up in the middle east and his father is a very powerful and dangerous man.No only his his father dangerous but, his brothers as well.

Paige never really gets over Abram but, she goes on with her life goes to college gets a job at and ad agency and is living her life.Abram contacts Paige brother as Paige's name comes up on a terrorist watch someone is out to hurt her and Abram suspects his dad is up to no good and his trying to force him to return to home and take up the rains by using Paige against him. Paige is kidnap and now Abram need to go to her rescue along with his team.

This gives Abram the excuse he has always wanted to have Paige for himself disregarding her brothers warnings to stay away. Abram is dark dangerous and has a sexual preference of having three-somes and has grown up in the middle east and there ways.None of this seems to bother Paige but, It bothers her brother and there will be hell to pay if he ever decides to act on his feeling.

This story is a long awaited love story. Danger and passion have brought two people together or should I say 3?, that should have been together all along if not for a madman and his sons. I found Paige to be a strong and independent women. She will need to have a open mind and be open minded ifs she ever plans to be with Abram as his sexual tastes are not the norm and no matter how much he may love Paige that is not going to change. This story was wrought with danger, murder, sexual exploration and secrets that come to life. If this couple can defy the odds and live the may be able to find one's hearts desire !This was one hot read !Tons of action from beginning to the end making the book interesting. The cat a mouse game that Paige and Abram played was and enjoyable ride...

Accustomed to running wild with her Lycan brothers in the swamps of Louisiana, Miss Liviana Mayeux is shipped off to London where Lady Hadley offers to sponsor and assist her. Before she knows it, Vivi finds herself in the middle of a pack of English wolves who are all vying for her attention. But Lady Hadley's handsome son Grayson is determined to keep her out of trouble. If only he knew how...

Always looking forward to reading Lydia Dares books I do enjoy them and love this series.

I enjoyed this read as the characters were a lot of fun to read about.Grayson being a black sheep of the family so to speak .Then there is Liviana the feisty werewolf with a tart tongue. Both character's give as good as they get with there banner of words they are well matched opponents for one another.

Grayson and Liviana meet when Grayson and his mother are paying a call to a neighbor. Liviana was sent to her grand-father from America by her father forcing her to become a lady and finally settle down and marry giving up here carefree lifestyle and wayward ways. Liviana will not going willingly and so the adventure begins.

From the very first meeting between Liviana and Grayson you sense there chemistry that they have between them. The thing is that Liviana is most bold and lets Grayson know that she knows exactly what he is giving him a total shock and setting him of guard. And in return she shows him a marking on her person letting him know exactly what she is.The playing field is now leveled !

These two have incredible chemistry and sexual tension between them yet knowing nothing will ever become of it as her grandfather will never approve of the match even if they acted on there feelings there pending romance would bed doomed from the get go.

I enjoyed this story a lot.The characters made you laugh quiet a lot throughout the story making this story a fun read.I do however have a couple of things that I did not like though . One of them is the fact that Liviana's mother left England because of the rigid society she lived in yet Liviana's  father is now sending his daughter to England to experience those same constraints society puts on women making it no less then a prison .And the very one reason her mother left to go to America in the first place. I just wanted to smack him! What the heck was he thinking? Was he trying to break her spirit and her self worth ?

My only other complaint is that I felt the romance between the couple when it finally did happened that it was a bit rushed. The couple had gone to great pains to fight the attraction between them for so long that I expected to be so wowed and I expected to see an explosive encounter  when it did happen that all and all  it would have been worth the pain and suffering this couple had to endure to finally be together. But no fireworks ...

But, the over all story was a pleasant read.  Liviana made this story engrossing as she was just so feisty and full of vigor that you new she was a worthy adversary and she would somehow find a way out of her situation. As as for the dreamy good for nothing Rake Grayson  you feel his pain as he does not feel worthy of Liviana as he feels he has nothing to really offer her .Even though he feels all of this he can't stop feeling predatory toward her and it may be the down fall for both of them.

We meet Liviana brothers who stir up the pot  making the story even more livelier. And the pages are graced by past characters which I so enjoy from story to story.Be sure to read the entire series along with this current story you won't be disappointed it was a fantastic series ! Loved it ! And as always looking forward to the next book....

Recommend read to all !

Acclaimed author Mary Wine captures all of the raw, rugged beauty of the Scottish Highlands, where tumultuous times bred a race of warriors who fought for country, keep, and kin, and loved as passionately as they lived.
Beautiful Clarrisa is sent to Scotland to marry the king, but is soon thwarted by the handsome Laird Broen MacNichols. For Broen, Clarrisa becomes far more than a kidnapped prize. Sparks fly as he enjoys sparring with the intelligent and independent-minded lady from York. Captive turns captor when Broen loses his heart and risks everything to keep Clarissa for himself.

Let me start out by saying that Mary Wine is one of my favorite authors. From the beginning of reading one of her medieval books I was hooked. I love her style of writing as she puts much thought into what she has to say into her writing of her books and you got to love all her sexy hero's.I love romance books along with Highland warriors so her books attracted me right off.I found Mary books out our local library and decided to give her a try and I am glad I did ! , been buying her books ever since...

Clarrisa is meant to be a Kings mistress and a broodmare to bore the King a son. This is not Clarrisa's wish but, that of her family and must do as duty call but, she is hoping to escape her fate or and intervention. Well, Laird Broen MacNichols has a beef with the King so sets forth kidnapping the impending Kings Mistress. The Laird is looked upon with kindness and fairness but he is also one of the best warriors to ever live.Clarrisa fears the Laird and feels that she is jumping from one fire into the next planning an escape of her own.

The pair are so different but, the eventually form a friendship. And although the Laird is a fierce warrior is has a soft heart that people rarely see but, Clarrisa is starting to.The two develop an relationship that brings a little happiness to both knowing this cannot last so the decide to live for the moment and enjoy one another for the time they have.As always love is never easy.

Loved the story and the plot was intriguing wrought with danger ,deception, and allies helping one another during the time of war of plotting aristocrats to see who is the rightful King. Clarrisa being a pawn in all there games! The book was fast paced and a page turner always wondering what would happen next and every time you thought these two love birds caught a break the carpet got ripped out right from under them. But, a love this strong must survive even if there looks to be no hope at all.

And wow what and ending never saw what happened coming as the tears spilled across the pages. A keeper for me ! Looking forward to Mary's Wines next book as always. A recommended read to all.

When Nicole Walker runs off the road in a blinding snowstorm after attending a friend’s wedding at a Colorado ski resort, she wakes up to find herself stranded at the remote mountain house of a handsome, enigmatic stranger. She lives and works in a fast-paced, high tech world; he is cultured and modern yet lives a quiet life in self-imposed exile. They are both powerfully attracted to each other, but there are things about him that mystify her and fill her with apprehension—and Nicole can’t shake the feeling that he really doesn’t want her there. She soon discovers that he’s a famous, reclusive author, renowned for his highly detailed and authentic historical fiction, and fiercely protective of his privacy. No wonder he was so reluctant to take her in, Nicole thinks. But he hides a far darker secret. As the sexual tension between them builds, the clues mount up. When Nicole realizes that her host is an ages-old vampire who thirsts for her blood, there’s nowhere for her to run but the blizzard raging outside, and he’s the only one who can save her life. By now there is no turning back; they have both fallen deeply in love, and share several passionate days together while waiting out the storm—a deep, meaningful, and dangerously seductive experience that will change them both forever.

I loved it. Not your typical vampire story. I know there were a lot of mixed reviews with this one but this is not your typical story with a girl that falls in love with a vampire. I guess why I liked it so much it was different. Nicole being stranded and off the road during a snow storm is spotted and taken to shelter by a total stranger which saved her life. Not knowing where she is or with how she learns that her savior is a recluse of a man who keeps to himself and away from the limelight. But,since her savior is very private about his life she doesn't know that he was a doctor in a previous life. He is a vampire who writes books about his previous life during the war turning fact into fiction that was based on his life spinning them into tales that end up on the best sellers list. Even though he has little contact with his guest which peaks Nicole's interest. But gradually he begins inter grading himself with her and is enjoying it even though he knows that it is dangerous and he might give himself away.Besides writing he has a passion for craving things out of wood and writing and horses etc not your typical vampire he is full of surprises. Before long a budding romance forms and you fall in love with a man you admired always wanted to meet , what more could a girl ask for ?But, when you think there is going to be a happy ever after you might want to think again....hummmmm what a surprise ending!

H.P. Landry is the author of the Pointe Hope Series: the gripping New Adult Romance series that allows you to experience tragedy and heartbreak as it follows the small town and their troubling lives in finding love.

H.P. Landry on her off time is the Family Director of her own version of a chaotic Brady-like family with her two children, and her partner’s two children. She began writing at a very young age that turned into obsession as an adult. The creative writer has been inspired by family and friends to write her compelling stories.

What would you have done differently if you were the main character of your book?

If I was Mylie, I would have chased the guy even if he was a jerk. I never take no for an answer.

What was your inspiration behind this book?

A book about hope and second chances. Ultimately, what would happen if you just try a little harder.

Why did you become a writer ?

I became a writer because the characters in my mind wanted their story to be told.

As a reader and writer I think it is important to get to know your fans and make a connection with them as an author who takes the extra step to hear what their fans think and want in their continued writing is continued success and key to selling more books .Do you agree with that ?

I believe that the fans are what make all of the difference of any book. They become so invested in your book or series that you can’t help but take their opinions to heart. I love when an idea of mine can actually inspire them to give their opinions and love to hear it always.

Do you have a favorite author or authors?

I have a plethora of favorite authors, but Rhonda R. Dennis, Michelle Leighton, and Amy Bartol to name a few...

Do you like to write your books in a continuing series?

I like to write a series that are the alternative point of view of the first book but also the continuation of the first book.

If you could date any character from any book, who would it be and why?

I would have to say if I could date a character from any character it would have to be Brennus from Premonition Series by Amy Bartol because I love a bad boy and I would definitely would love to hear him say, “You’re Moin!” Swoon...

What kinds of books do you like to read in your spare time ?

I love all books and do not have a preference just as long as its a good book.

Do you cry  when writing sad scenes?

I do and I ugly cried in my paranormal romance book that is due out at the end of the year.

Did you have a Cover Designer ?

 Bookfabulous Designs.

Who is your fictional boyfriend or girlfriend crush?

Although you haven’t met him yet, my fictional boyfriend crush is Sebastian he will be in book four.

If you were able to dine and have a one on one with your favorite writer/author who would it be ?

This is so hard because I love these authors for two different reasons but its a toss up from Michelle Leighton and Rhonda R. Dennis. They are such good people that I cannot help but love them.

Do just re-read your favorite books ?

Absolutely! When I was in labor with my son I reread Breaking Dawn… yeah sad huh lol.

Do you ever get in a reading slump like your readers do ?

Yes I do. Sometimes life gets in the way and I don’t get my fix of books but when I get back to reading, I go full force!

What is the funniest book you ever read ?

Oh Gosh by far it has to be Diary of a Dieter by Marie Coulson! Hilarious!! I love Gran! She is awesome!!
