We are quickly becoming fans of this author's stories and really are loving this MC series the characters are all so intriguing.

Loved Lark and Maddog's story of instant lust/love thing happening between this couple. Their chemistry is off the charts. They just had this instant connection that we really loved not only that we found Lark wanting to put her trust in someone for the first time who wasn't her stepbrother.

Lark has suffered through unbelievable things yet we found that she had such an upbeat personality one that was quick-witted funny and loved her sexy teasing. She was also a firecracker and a fierce little warrior. Loved her from the moment we met her. Some would say she has some really big you know what on her. Lol Loved that Maddog called her his little dove and how she smiled each and every time she heard it.

Maddog was another character who made you fall for him instantly. A savior and soldier whose mind and body have been ravaged by war and slightly broken but, who is still a soldier and a defender of the innocent. Loved the relationship he had with his service dog their bond was heartfelt and loving.

This story was emotional and tugged on the readers' heartstrings. The suspense kept you on edge and the characters were wonderful. The story was also full of surprises good and bad ones. A page-turner for us we loved it.
