We are going to be honest when we started this story we weren't so sure we were going to like it and boy we were so surprised we ended up loving it. Right off the bat, our first impression of Ivy is two words Ice Queen. We quickly changed our minds once getting to know the real Ivy even though she hid beneath her armor. Loved seeing Ivy thaw as one would say little by little the love of a caring man and his big wonderful boisterous family had a hand in it we suspect but, Ivy did the hard work. Getting to know Ivy and little bits of her home life you quickly realize what she saw as a punishment would quickly change her life forever.

Cameron was one healthy dose of what we call swoony. That man was kind, compassionate, understanding, loveable, patient had a sense of humor, and carried the world on his shoulders. His family would tease him that he had White Knight Syndrome. Our thoughts on that may be a little. We fell head over heels in love with that man from the very first chapters.

Loved this small-town romance from cover to cover. The Wilder family made this story what it was they were a kind and loving family who opened their home to all. We loved that they saw something in Ivy that she didn't see in herself. Loved the banter, the bickering, and the teasing among the siblings. There were so many precious moments that made you melt which we loved and we kept thinking what it would be like to be part of that family that had so much love to give.

In closing, we must say we had to get out the tissues and couldn't stop crying in the last several chapters. This was the type of story where characters are complete opposites and seem like they have nothing in common even though there is lust and the want factor It is not your typical romance where characters fall head over heels for each other instantly their relationship is what you want to call a work in progress but, as the story progresses you see just what Cameron is doing to win his girl on the sly all knowing that he may wear his heart on his sleeve and know that his time with Ivy is limited he may only get lasting memories in the future to come.
