Blog Tour Downfall by Shae Scott

Title: The Wish
Author: Eva LeNoir
Genre: Contemporary Romance
Release Date: September 3, 2020

"He's (Marlon) definitely in my Top Five Book Hunks for the year!" USA Today Bestselling author Angel Payne

"...this book is real, and it will pull at your heartstrings." Author Maria Vickers

My life was complicated enough, I didn’t need an added distraction.
My father’s stubborn decision to organize a world tour, landed me toe to toe with Marlon Brooks—Los Angeles’ most eligible millionaire bachelor.
It was easy to figure him out.
He was rich.
He was gorgeous.
Confidence dripping from every word he spoke.
But nothing is ever as it seems.
Beneath his veneer hid a man of many layers—ones I would peel back slowly and savor at every turn.
Until all his secrets were revealed.
Secrets that could shatter my entire world.

“Hmmm, I didn’t see anything about a ‘fiancรฉ’ in your file, Ms. Hughes.” He said, a sour note coating his otherwise smooth voice.

“Must have been an oversight.” It wasn’t.

“Must have been, indeed.” And he knew it.

“Do you always call your clients on a Sunday evening?” I asked, curious as to why he worked on weekends.

“No, I don’t. In fact, I haven’t taken a case in almost a year.”

I audibly gasped at his admission and I could hear the satisfaction in his chuckle. The man was throwing little nuggets of information my way, enticing me, daring me to give into my curiosity.

But I wouldn’t.

“We should talk again soon so we can go over the entire list before I tell my father my thoughts?” I ended my phrase on a question hoping I didn’t sound like I was giving orders but also not wanting to give him the impression that I was searching out his phone calls.

Because I wasn’t.

Not at all.

I had a…Calvin.

“We should. Sweet dreams, Ms. Hughes,” he practically purred, his voice eliciting dirty thoughts I had no business having."

Eva LeNoir lives in France with her husband, two sons and the entire food chain in pets: From gerbils to cats and a dog. With a full-time job that pays the bills, she reserves all of her free time to doing what she loves most: Writing.
Eva likes teasing her husband that she should have married a billionaire so she could stay home and write all day. But then he makes her laugh at his silly antics and all dreams of lavish lifestyles evaporate from her mind. A softie at heart, Eva can be seen crying whenever anything emotional is on TV or the radio. Yes, even commercials. So, if ever you meet her, make sure to bring a box of tissues and a good episode of Grey's Anatomy to witness the epic tear fest.
There are three things she believes unconditionally: Love really does conquer all, Humans are still inherently good and Wine and Cheese will solve all the problems of the world.

Release Tour Downfall by Shae Scott

 Title: Downfall
Series: A Bookworm Novel
Author: Shae Scott
Genre: Contemporary Romance
Release Date: September 1, 2020

Every love story is different.
Some are a slow burn. Others burn bright and fade fast.
Maybe you get a happy ending, or maybe your story doesn’t even start until the ending unravels.
When it comes to relationships, Lily McCandless has one rule: Live fast, have fun, and get out before it gets too serious. It was a rule that served her well until he came along and changed the entire game.
Miles Harris knew falling for Lily was dangerous. She warned him she couldn’t be held. He went after her anyway. Then, she agreed to be his wife. Game over. Happily. Ever. After. Until she left him in the dead of the night, leaving behind only her ring and three words scratched onto a piece of paper.
What happens to a love story that can’t find its way? Can love really rise from the ashes of an ending? Or will the past prove to be its final downfall?
(This book is a companion book to a previous book called On Paper. It will be able to be read as a stand-alone, however, I’m willing to offer any reviewers a copy of On Paper to read if they’d like to read both.)

@lifeisbetterwithbooks - “I finished this book late last night, and my mind and emotions are still reeling from this wonderful, heartbreaking, relentless, amazing book.”
