This is a new author, and I'm glad we started this new series; it's our second read by them.. The characters are smoking hot, and the story is full of drama and intrigue. This newest installment captivated me from the start, yet again. EvanAnn is an aspiring director who hopes to work professionally in the future. She is smart, studious, and a quiet type. She may be the quiet type, but we see her claws come out in this current plot. Damon, Hawk, and Cam are hockey players at school known as the Devils Trio. EvanAnn, Hawk, Damon, and Cam are ambitious high school students navigating the challenging environment of their exclusive school. The trio is possessive and protective of their little devil, as they call her. They have challenges of their own, whether it's home life or school, or what their futures look like, it looks like their in it together. The men are very similar in their personalities overall. Cam is more of the laidback type, while Hawk and Damon are more possessive and dominant types. It's been said Hawk has a savior complex after all; he is called the golden boy. We loved everything about the story. It keeps you on the edge of your seat the entire time. The plot delivers a powerful punch. It is a gripping second installment. The plot has surprising twists! Be prepared for the drama to reach new heights! The story delves deeper into character backgrounds, with secondary characters stepping into the limelight. The plot takes you on a rollercoaster ride of secrets, lies, and a world where trust is a rare commodity. Just when you think you have the plot or their revenge scheme figured out, another jaw-dropping twist emerges. The dynamic between these four characters is charged with tension and allure. Things are even hotter this time around. The chemistry between EvanAnn Cam, Damon Hawk is more explosive. They are living out their fantasies. But their dynamic has changed not only phycially but themeselves, they are evolving into a better version of themselves. Loving the right person or persons makes a difference; you feel whole, cherished loved. The added mystery and suspense to the story have now upped its game. The cliffhanger was just mind-blowing. This book may have triggers for some; beware, as there are some dark elements within this plot.

She is smart, inexperienced when it comes to relationships, studious, quiet, more of a wallflower type, but not when it comes to acting or her chosen profession; she is all professional and making a name for herself already. Damon, Hawk, and Cam are hockey players at school known as the Devils Trio. We loved everything about the story. It keeps you on the edge of your seat the entire time. EvanAnn gets caught up in a revenge plot not of her own making. The story took on many twists and turns. The Trio is all about using her in their revenge plot, but as the story progresses, many truths come to light, and they start to re-examine the current situation they find themselves in. The characters are awesome. EvanAnn is a sweetheart and caring, and loving person, along with all her wonderful traits. The villains or bad boys in the story play their part well. They are sexy, popular, and pretty much untouchable, and they ooze sex appeal. We also found Mia to be an interesting character, as you try to figure out if her motives are genuine. The chemistry between these characters is off the charts. So many fan-worthy scenes throughout the book. And the non-stop drama was more than enough to keep you engaged and turning the pages. We could not put it down and read this book in one sitting. Beware that this story ends on a cliffhanger, as well as book two; the story will finish up in book 3. There may be triggers for readers, so be aware that there is bullying. poly relationships, some dark elements.
