Another winner in this ongoing series. We were already loving Lorelei from book one knowing she was stuck between a rock and a hard place and her heart would end up being broken it was only a matter of time.

Loreilei and Zakn's story was not as intense as the first but, it was one filled with a ton of emotion and clearly two people who loved one another were facing challenges that seemed unable to overcome.

With book one leaving off with a bit of a cliffhanger we knew what this couple was in store for in book two. Our heart went out to Zakh because with all his skills it seemed to be falling him in his endeavor to prove his innocence but, no matter the odds its to win and prove to the woman he loves that he is worth putting her love in faith in him once again.

As the story progresses you understand the kind of pressure this man was under the secrets he uncovered and that he would do anything to save the woman he loved with all his heart. Secrets upon secrets and more secrets. Characters showing their true colors more and more as the story progressed.

We really loved rooting for the underdog in this one not sure if the methods Zakh was using were acceptable but, the man was fighting for his life in more ways than one.

One sexy read filled with villainous characters who will do anything for love, money and power. This world these characters live in are dark and dangerous and deceitful but, their always seems to be a common theme the children of this world pay for the sins of their fathers and their daughters are the sacrificial lambs for greed and power. It's nice to find that not all men are of the same caliber and Zakh was willing to fight for love above all else and who wouldn't want to fall in love with a character like that.

Book 1 Devil's Kiss

This series was off to a great start. The story made your heart race the entire time waiting for the other shoe to drop. Things were not always they way they seemed and looked like. This story was dark and intense with a man bent on revenge. From the moment you started turning the pages you were hooked and you stayed glued to the pages the entire time. Desmier was handsome dark and dangerous, sexy and had that bad boy persona but, he also held darkness within himself that frightens those around him. Revenge is the only thing on his mind. This man scared you to death and in the same breath had you thinking sinful thoughts poor Anastasia you understood her Waring head and heart. Sex on a stick and sinfully sexy! Anastasia was beautiful inside and out and we loved that she had that innocence about her and in the next breath you saw the claws come out. Wanting and desiring your enemy is a big no no. The chemistry between this couple was off the charts they sizzled together in and out of bed. This was one hot read let me tell you. Fan worthy characters.
  

Overall a story that was emotional and suspenseful with lots of ups and downs and had more than a few surprises that you did not see coming and we really loved that however tragic they were. First time author for us a we really enjoyed our first read by them and their characters, Desmier was a character you would love to hate because of his actions and deeds but, the more you got to know the man he is more than just the villain/bully you see he is capable of so much more and you just know that the love of a good woman might be enough to let the light overcome the darkness.

What an awesome story filled with mystery and suspense and a ton of hotness!. The characters in this story were awesome, so engaging and fun, we loved them all.

Gabbi was a sweetheart and our heart went out to the challenges she dealt with when it came to her family but, as the story progressed, we saw her changing little by little and growing more confident every day. We loved everything about her character, she made it so easy to love her.

Matteo the hot sexy Italian with a mysterious and dangerous past. A smoking hot security expert who is confident, sexy, possessive, a bit of a ladies man, a man with a set of special skills and sex on a stick. 

Matteo and Gabbi seem like an unlikely pair but, are anything but, from the moment they met their connection was instant and overwhelming neither really knew what to do with that but, and orgasm always helps to calm the storm and boy does Matteo know how to pleasure a woman.

Overall, loved the plot, the suspense and how the story drew you right in a kept you glued to the pages the entire time. Never a dull moment, tons of hot and sexy moments. Love it when the unattainable fall hard and fast, that is the best part of the story and it always opposite of the kinds of woman they always pursued and for Matteo Gabbi is just the softness he needed to overcome those very dark memories he endured when he was out saving the world from those evil villains. Can't wait for the next book in this series, looking forward to it.

This was yet another awesome read in this ongoing series. This story had so many great characters, from the flock to the team 5 soldiers to the original members of the Wounded Souls.

The story was heartfelt and emotional and I have to say as I was turning the pages a felt a tear or two slip while doing so and we just love when that happens.

Grill was one of those characters so easy to fall in love. Grill with his sexy looks and wicked sense of humor to his hot alpha ways, right down to the overprotectiveness. We loved how open and honest and loving he was.

Abby's life was not an easy one but, she carved out quite a life for herself that she seems happy with albeit a little lonely but, her past has left scars and there is only one man who has been able to penetrate that wall that has surrounded her heart and that is Grill the super sniper. Lol

Overall this was a touching love story and one that took us in a direction that we didn't see coming but, for us the outcome was joyful and a bit sad at the same time. Both Grill and Addy made such a beautiful couple and their chemistry was amazing, and they were just so sweet together that it made my heart melt. We love the men of this series, and we love that once their heart knows that they have found their one and only soul mate, from that moment on they do everything and anything in their power to make that women their own for life. Can you say fast-forward ? Lol 

Grill, you were such a romantic ! 

 We loved it and can't wait for Rafe's story. This author stories are always so touching and heart felt that they just melt my heart each and every time. Every time this authors puts pen to paper, she makes it easy for us to fall in love with her new character's that she creates and the old ones we just fall in love with all over again. 

I love the idea of being in love. Since my early teens when I first discovered Silhouette Desire novels my life has been all about reading. I would find myself re-writing scenes if I wasn't happy with them and hiding them under my bed. That led me to writing love stories of my own. They all ended up under the bed and are still there, and there they will stay. I don't do angst, in fact it drives me crazy. 

I am a mum of three beautiful girls, Australian, and have what most say is a weird sense of humor.

I spend my free time doing movie, Sons of Anarchy, and Friends marathons. And reading.

I love Piña colada's and getting caught in the rain..... there's that weird humor.
