He swallows and I brace myself to be pushed off. But he doesn’t.
“I didn’t say stop.” It’s the first time he’s wavered, and I’m exhilarated. “Don’t make me do this here.” He begs, pressing his forehead to mine, gasping for breath.
“Am I making you?” I tease, racking my brain for a place to go.
“You know you are.” He kisses me.
He.
Kissed.
Me.
It feels like I’ve broken through some barrier and I grin into his kiss.
