This heartwarming novella is a quick and delightful read. Skid's instant connection with Laken and her daughter is endearing, and his patience and support are refreshing. The acceptance and support from the Fury women add a lovely touch to the story. Laken learns to accept help and love.

The chemistry between Skid and Laken was beautiful, and they made a wonderful couple. The tender moments between Baylor and Skid created heartwarming scenes that we adored. The characters were fantastic and lovable, and we enjoyed the instant connection between Laken and Skid. They found something in each other that they had been searching for a long time. The couple made a beautiful family. 

A great read, and I look forward to more stories from here on out. This is definitely one of our favorite MC authors, a one-click always.
