This is a new author for us, and we thoroughly enjoyed this book, devouring it in one sitting. Wren is rescued by Sire and his brothers from being trafficked.

Sire, the eldest King Brother and ex-Mafia member, forms a strong connection with Wren despite their age gap. The undeniable chemistry and attraction between them draw them closer. The characters are fantastic, and even the villains play their parts well.

Wren is a bold and beautiful character, feisty, protective, smart, worldly, sexy, and independent-minded. She has been through a lot but remains hopeful and passionate, with a huge heart full of compassion and love. We started loving her the minute she opened her heart, and the things that come out of this woman's mouth are priceless.

Sire is a protective figure who will go to great lengths for his family. He also has a kinky side that Wren appreciates. Their love helps Wren confront her demons and shows Sire that he deserves love. The way Sire is with his woman is heartwarming at times. Their chemistry is off the charts, and their sexual encounters are fan-worthy moments. 

The author's writing and storytelling style are addictive and captivating. The plot and characters in this book are suited for open-minded readers, as the characters can be dark, sexy, and their kinks even brutal in a consensual way. 

Sire and his brothers have left the mafia life behind, but some traditions still linger. To become true queens of these men, their wives must undergo trials to fully integrate into their world. These trials are meant to ensure their protection and the unity of the family they will create.

Wow! This story had us on the edge of our seats the entire time, even making us uncomfortable at times. We always considered ourselves open-minded, but this plot and its characters took things to a whole new level.
