We adored every aspect of this story, from the endearing characters to the heartwarming friendships that blossomed, undeniable chemistry between Carys and Eric standout side character, brought humor, support, and a touch of mystery to the narrative, especially with her enigmatic feelings towards Rueben. Carys and Eric easily became our favorite couple of the year, with Eric earning a spot on the swoon-worthy character list.

While a work of fiction, the story authentically tackled real-life issues and challenges faced by military spouses during deployments, highlighting the sacrifices made on both sides to support each other's dreams of service and protection. It was a poignant portrayal of the pride and struggles that come with such commitments.

 If you crave an emotional and romantic story, this book belongs on your must-read list. Eric's story promises to linger in your thoughts long after you turn the final page.
