This was an enjoyable and endearing read that had me smiling at the clever banter between the characters. Lucy is a bold and determined woman who goes after what she wants. The story also has emotional depth, focusing on a couple navigating love and building a future together. The humor throughout the story kept me engaged. The picturesque setting and small-town romance vibe, along with the town gossip, added an intriguing element to the plot. The characters were well-developed in this instant love story. Despite being a short story, it was filled with intense passion and heat.
