This is a new author for us, and we thoroughly enjoyed our first read by them. I haven't read many holiday-themed romances before, but we decided to make a change this year and dive into something new. We are really glad we chose this story to start our new adventure. It was the perfect story to begin with.
Willow and Wyatt share a history where Wyatt once broke her heart. When she is unexpectedly assigned to work with him as a client, she initially refuses due to their past. However, the chemistry they once shared still sizzles below the surface. The witty banter between Wyatt and Willow is delightful, with him being charming and her being sassy and fiery. Their dynamic is engaging and entertaining.
The cast of characters in the story is wonderful and engaging. It is full of emotion, second chances, drama, owning your mistakes, love, family, change, and revealing secrets.
We love Wyatt and Willow as a couple; they are perfect for each other, and their chemistry is off the charts. Despite the challenges ahead of them, their love survived their years apart, giving them a fighting chance to get it right this time around.
This is a great holiday read.
