He is a Hunter of Gunmen.
Defend. Investigate. Secure.
We were sad to see this series come to an end. It was a pure enjoyment to read. The characters were fabulous, and we loved each one of them.
We cannot emphasize enough how great this series is. As readers, the author provided everything we could ever want in a book series. We fell in love with each of the men who worked with OPS. They found perfect wives, and their stories blended flawlessly, giving us more laughs and joy.
The author did a fantastic job of tying up loose ends. Everything came together, and the ongoing plot finally made sense. We learned some hard truths that made us feel betrayed, just like the other characters must have felt.
What we loved most about this series was the close bond between the OPS members and their unwavering loyalty to the company. Even Cash and the J's, who came from Rafe, rallied when needed.
We appreciated that even when Cash went rogue, the team never turned their backs on him. They hoped that there was more to his actions than just grief over losing his twin, sensing something more sinister at work.
FNG played a significant role in the outcome of the story, and we applauded the author's brilliance. The stories FNG shared about his missing years turned out to be true, and some of those tales became their greatest allies.
Fox has been our steadfast favorite. He gave us so many laughs, we are going to miss him terribly; his loyalty to the men and women knows no bounds. It still makes us laugh with his obsession with the Kamu and Funyun's. I bet the men aren't laughing now, with all those knife-throwing sessions with their woman Fox gave them...
What a wonderful ending the plot has, with many bombs dropping over the place. Reed security gracing the pages in their time of need, and when you learn how that came about, it will put another smile on your face.
A fantastic read, we are going to miss these characters, the belly laughs they gave us tears that were shed. The unexpected ending almost broke us, but the subsequent surprise put a smile back on our faces.
I agree with what another reviewer has said: they wished there had been an epilogue. Perhaps the author could write a novella, an update on our favorite characters at some point. I have an inkling that this is not the last we will see of these characters, and with something that happened within the book, it gives us hope that there might be a possibility of a second-generation series of these characters.
Ps. It has been days since we finished this series, and it is still on our minds. With all Rafe's faults, he set out to change the world, so he thought, and his sister was never far from his mind. My heart bled for Libby in this finale. But a question remains: did he know who his father was at heart? Some speculate NO because he had known the truth, would the outcome of his fate have been different?

I'm a stay at home mom that loves to read. Some of my favorite titles are Pride and Prejudice, Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, and Horatio Hornblower. I started writing when I was trying to come up with suggestions on ways I could help bring in some extra money. I came up with the idea that I could donate plasma because you could earn an extra $500/month. My husband responded with, "No. Find something else. Write a blog. Write a book." I didn't think I had anything to share on blog that a thousand other mothers hadn't already thought of. I decided to take his challenge seriously and sat down to write my first book, Jack. I was surprised at how much I enjoyed writing. From there, the stories continued to flow and I haven't been able to stop. I hope my readers enjoy my books as much as I enjoy writing them. Between reading, writing, and taking care of three small kids, my days are quite full.
