This was an enjoyable read that had us smiling and laughing from start to finish. Chevy and Aella are a perfect match, with Chevy being the quiet, grumpy type and Aella the vibrant, caring, and kind-hearted one. Aella's feisty personality was just what the doctor ordered.
The plot is filled with non-stop family drama, wicked characters, surprises, and secrets, making it a compelling read that we thoroughly enjoyed. The characters are engaging and lovable, and the ending is perfect for the couple.
Aella's twin sister, Silver, is an interesting character, and we hope to see more of her in future stories. This book was the perfect read to get us out of a reading slump, with Chevy and Aella's chemistry off the charts. Their interactions are filled with laughter, and there is never a dull moment.
The theme of found family and amazing friendships adds depth to Aella's story, and Chevy's care and support for her create heart-melting moments throughout the book. Overall, this story had us hooked and left us wanting more.
