This installment in the ongoing series was a favorite of ours. We were captivated by Pulse and Talia's story. Pulse harbors a significant secret he has kept hidden from the club, a secret he intended to carry to his grave. However, his past has caught up with him, and the time has come to face the consequences. The action in this book was relentless from start to finish. The plot is rife with mystery, suspense, love, romance, enduring friendships, and resurfacing enemies from the past. A surprising twist involving Curly added an unexpected element to the story. Despite appearing vastly different to others, Talia and Pulse were a perfect match. Talia, a fierce legal shark, possesses a compassionate heart and always stands up for those in need. The chemistry between Talia and Pulse sizzled, and their connection exuded soulmate vibes. Pulse's protective and possessive nature towards Talia was endearing, as he took the time to uncover her true self, generous, kind, and loving. This compelling story, filled with vibrant characters, held us spellbound and left us eager to revisit its pages time and again. The ending was flawless, leaving us with a heartwarming feeling and a desire to experience the story's warmth and charm once more.
