Great start to this brand new read, it was easy to read, had an engaging plot, and a well-written story filled with suspense, chemistry, love, friendship, and family. Xiana & Bullseye's first encounter was funny, she is a fierce little thing who is not afraid to speak her mind, but on the other hand, Bullseye cut cuts the fear of god in her. Soon Xiana learns you should never judge a book by its cover. We loved the main characters and the side characters as well as how Zander was protective of his sister, and how close they are, and the protectiveness goes both ways. Loved Xiana's feistiness, her commitment to her brother and her large heart, she is strong and determined and not afraid to show her vulnerabilities. The chemistry between Bullseye and Xiana was hot and sexy and fit each other perfectly. Bullseye was a character that made us laugh time and time again, the leave-and-leave-them type who is a one-and-done but, honest about it. The chemistry and attraction he feels for Xiana are fierce, his protectiveness and possessiveness he feels for her throw the man all off-kilter, but he needs to make some life-altering decisions. Is friendship enough with Xiana, or is he capable of more? We loved it, the plot was edgy, the characters were fantastic, and full of non-stop suspense, the characters were loveable, and the villains were perfect, we can't wait to see what's next for Bullseye's brother, looking forward to finding out.
