This story surprised me and threw me for a loop. From the moment you started turning the pages, you were engrossed in the story. As it progressed, you came across minefield after minefield full of surprises and one really big OMG! We did not see that coming.
The characters are fantastic well most of them. Talk about betrayals that will blow your mind. Gable and Athena have their ups and downs but, their chemistry is undeniable and super hot.
We loved it as the story takes you through a range of emotions, sadness, pissed, surprise, anger, laughter, heartbreak, happiness and so much more.
We love Gable's family they make things interesting in every book. We were floored by the surprises things just got more interesting as there was one explosive turn of events that had everybody on edge. The ending was perfect for this couple. This is definitely one of our favorite couples in this series.
