We loved Hollis's and Quincy's story it made you laugh and wanted to make you cry. Hollis, we found to be an advocate for others but, not so much for herself, what we loved about her the most is that she was a bit of a rebel and she is the kind of character that you love all those little quirks about them. Quincy is a bit of a workaholic dedicated to his job, but the little rebel slightly bad girl catches his eye and he can't stop thinking about her and becomes a bit of a stalker himself. Grins...
This was a fun read yet had a serious undertone and was emotional and filled with messy family drama and heartbreak. We love when opposites attract and Hollis and Quincy could not be more different but, Quincy quickly becomes her fierce protector and can give her everything she wants and craves and Quincy & the Carter family are a big part of that. We loved the Carter brothers and can't wait to see more of them and get to know them better as we love them all already.
We enjoyed this book and can't wait for the next in the series. We loved Hollis and Quincy as a couple they were perfect for one another his life with her will never be dull that is for sure. Hollis was such a fun character she kept us grinning and smiling throughout and Quincy is the perfect book boyfriend who is fierce and protective and has a panty-melting smile that wins the girl every time.
