This was a first-time author for us and we enjoyed this steamy alien romance from beginning to end that was action-packed full of chemistry and romance and had a cast of wonderful characters. What a page-turner we could not put it down. I love it when you read something out of your comfort zone and the book is a hit and this one did not disappoint.

The story starts anti-climatic and immediately draws you right in this is when Pippa and Drex meet and their story begins which is filled with mystery suspense and murder. You will love all the suspense and the mystery that surrounds the couple.

We loved Drex and Pippa as a couple it seems that the instant lust and connection have awakened something in this soulless warrior. I loved seeing Drex flustered as he dealt with these new emotions within. Pippa and Drex made a cute couple and we loved their chemistry the author made it easy to fall in love with their character. I would pick up a story by this author again this story was quite enjoyable.

Kate Rudolph is an ex-derby girl who lives in Indiana. She loves writing about kick butt heroines and the steamy heroes who love them.
