New Debut & Review for Author with Forever Yours by Lottie Paige

He shattered her heart. Now he’s back to fix it.

20-year-old Aria Holloway’s stuck in a small coastal town, caring for her vulnerable mother, and struggling to pay the bills.

But things are about to get worse.

Nate Fletcher is back. Her first love, her protector, her tormentor. He didn’t just break her heart—he shattered it.

Two years ago, when Aria needed him most, Nate vanished into thin air. Now, all of a sudden, he’s back. All grown up. With eyes as hard as steel and biceps to match. And she’s forced to work with him. Giving in is dangerous, yet as the two get closer, it’s impossible to deny the claim they still have on each other. Body and soul.

But there’s something broken about Nate. Something that threatens to break Aria, too. And when Nate’s secrets come tumbling out, the only hope the pair have is to face up to what they’ve been through. Can they find a way to heal together? Can Aria give the boy who broke her heart a second chance?

Forever Yours is a standalone romance by debut author Lottie Paige. So gripping it will squeeze your heart and never let go. Steamy, emotional, HEA guaranteed.

Where to start with this review I had mixed feelings about this story. Nate and Aria were likable characters but, I never fell in love with their characters and that is where my problem stems from as we love falling in love with the characters we read about. This highly emotional story revolves around the past and present drama that weighs down the characters and none really deal with the issues that cause them.

The story goes back and forth between the past and present. What we did like about the story is that it was about second chances. We loved that after years passing Nate's heart still belongs to the one woman he loved. We understood his guilt his regrets and his woes really tugged on our heartstrings.

What we loved about Aria's characters is how much she loved he mother and the sacrifices she made for her but, the other parts of her personality were not to my liking.

This story reads like real-life drama. The characters had many ups and downs. The characters lacked communication, and secrets were hard to accept no matter the problems surrounding this couple love was never an issue.

We did love the ending for this couple and it was an okay read for us but, there was no wow factor and we never felt any chemistry between the characters we felt something was missing from the story to rope us in from the moment we started turning the pages.

This is our debut author, and we wish them much success in their writing career going forward.
