An opposites attract spin-off from the NOLA Defiance MC Series, but you don’t need to read NOLA Defiance to enjoy the conclusion to this duet. The alpha hero has ‘touch her and I will unalive you’ vibes, with a great supporting cast that will keep you on the edge of your seat.

This conclusion was not what we expected it was full of twists and turns full of tons of suspense. Makaylie and Cain could be more different but, we can see why he was drawn to her. She was his light to his darkness and she made him want to be a better person for her.

This time around the story took you on an emotional roller coaster with both characters. We have to admit that Cain was a scary dude but, he could turn that off when he was with his girl but, never seemed to conquer his need for control in all things but, when you get to know the complicated man you understand why he is the way he is.

We have to say we were really rooting for this couple from the beginning they were perfect for one another their chemistry was off the charts. The characters were awesome even the baddies.

Overall a compelling read and we thoroughly enjoyed it.

There ended up being so many twists to the story we never saw coming but, were pleasantly welcoming and others just wow, and omg moments we didn't see that coming and those are the kind of stories we love the most. The ending was more surprising and we have a feeling we may just see these characters pop up once again.
