★★★★★ Goodreads Review - “All I can say is WOW. This by far is my favorite book. I loved the intensity between Jack and Skylar, the storyline itself kept me on the edge of my seat.”
★★★★★ Goodreads Review - “This story has it all: angst, terror, regret, hope, guilt, action and, most important, love.”
★★★★★ Goodreads Review - “This book was everything we've come to know and love about our OPS family and I couldn't get enough.”

Bite The Bullet is book 16 in the OPS Protector romance series and it is recommended they are read in order.

One stupid decision as a kid changed my life forever.

It shaped me into the ruthless man I am today, only fighting for someone else—a man who will sacrifice anything and anyone for the job.

But I’ve made a critical error.

I went too far—put myself in an untenable position that could cost me everything.

I should have walked away.

I should have never taken the job.

But then I never would have seen her face.

The choices I made in the past defined me up until now.

But what I do from here on out will determine if I can be the man for her.

An awesome story with Jake Skylar and Parker. This story was full of mystery suspense, heartache pain love, and loss, and one that took you on an emotional coaster ride. The story was well written and was tragic full of danger and intrigue and Jack was at the heart of it but, one little lady and her precious son were smack dab in the middle of it as well.

We have to say we loved the loyalty that OPS showed toward Jack and always had his back although Rafe is not our favorite character he is not completely without a heart in this ongoing plot.

Jack is so angry and has a right to be his life seems so messed up for so long being undercover has made him more dark, dangerous, and withdrawn and it going to take a beautiful woman named Skylar and her beautiful son to bring him back to life once again.

Loved the chemistry between Skylar & Jack it was beautiful loved how they took things slowly building something between them and also slowly healing one another both gun shy the other not feeling worthy of the life one could have.

Overall thoughts we loved the action, suspense, witty banter, and humor of a story that was filled with heartache and emotion the story had it all but, most of all we wished that Jack be free of his demons once and for all. What we loved the most was that Jack was so out of his comfort zone it made the story funny in the fact we found ourselves giggling on and off throughout the story. Skylar was such a beautiful soul and she made it easy to fall in love with her character Parker was such a precious child that he just melted our hearts. Loved it!

I'm a stay at home mom that loves to read. Some of my favorite titles are Pride and Prejudice, Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, and Horatio Hornblower. I started writing when I was trying to come up with suggestions on ways I could help bring in some extra money. I came up with the idea that I could donate plasma because you could earn an extra $500/month. My husband responded with, "No. Find something else. Write a blog. Write a book." I didn't think I had anything to share on blog that a thousand other mothers hadn't already thought of. I decided to take his challenge seriously and sat down to write my first book, Jack. I was surprised at how much I enjoyed writing. From there, the stories continued to flow and I haven't been able to stop. I hope my readers enjoy my books as much as I enjoy writing them. Between reading, writing, and taking care of three small kids, my days are quite full.
