 In the grand scheme of things, five years isn’t a very long time. It goes by in a blink, literally. Waking up with no recollection of the last five years is devastating. The woman I remember loving is with someone else. The only family I had is gone, and I’m forced to relive those losses all over again. I’m now a member of Cerberus, and I can’t even recall if I signed on to get Rivet back or if I got over her before joining. I have no other choice but to cling to the woman hired to help me recover because she’s the only one that knows less about me than I do. I was afraid of never getting my memory back, but the closer I get to her makes me terrified of what will happen if I do.

Wow! Loved this one! Kincaid was a lifesaver kind and generous throughout this whole story. Loved that the entire club was there for Bishop the entire time. Loved Brent aka Bishop's flirty personality his sense of humor is anger we warranted his generous spirit and not afraid to show some vulnerability but, most of all loved that he spoke of his time in foster care and not like it was a dirty secret.

Sunshine was a woman with a run of bad luck but, she was a loving and wonderful mom who was basically a single parent doing it all. Loved how she cared and spoke with Bishop and somehow soothed Brent's confused state of confusion with her voice alone. Loved this couple's fierce chemistry they made a great couple. Both Brent & Sunshine had a lot of emotional ups and downs but, most of those came from fear the fear part was mostly for Sunshine from hurt and betrayals of the past but, for Sunshine, she needed to let go of some of those fears and trust she now had people in her life that would have her back. It broke our hearts with some of the insecurities she felt and that she felt she was a failure and screwup but, was anything but those things. She was a kind and compassionate loving woman going through a rough time yet always trying to do and be the best for her child.

Loved this story and the connection between Bishop/Sunshine had their chemistry is beautiful and loved all the hot and sexy scenes between them. The ending was yet another bombshell went off but, we expect nothing less from the Cerebus MC.
