Let's start off by saying we are loving this series and that we loved this current tale with Sam & Avery we love when a couple gets a second chance at what could have been. For Avery she felt like she was doing the right thing back then and for Sam and Aver was his one true love that his heart has not forgotten. They have a history that was filled with both love, heartache and pain. Avery is back and plans to rebuild her life but, she won't be doing it alone.
Sam was that mysterious brother always off to far and away places working with Doctors with borders that we finally got to meet and absolutely loved him. His brothers always talked so much about him that we are glad he's back and we finally get to get the skinny on the hot and sexy man. His banter and interactions with his brothers and cousins were down right hilarious.
This is the type of story that gives you all the feels and checks all the boxes for me with this type of story. The heart never forgets their one true love and being and a forced proximity of one another and no matter how much time has passed the heart wants what it wants and and there is just no fighting fate. Fate gave you a chance to get it right this time so fight like your life depends on it.
One thing about the Maxwell family is that they are always up in your business and that is one of the best parts of this story with them behind you there is no doubt that you will get your happily ever after. We just loved them they make us laugh time and time again. The families teasing had us laughing out loud time and time again. We love when that happens.
Overall we loved the characters they were all amazing. Sam & Avery sizzled in and out of bed had amazing chemistry and created so many heart melting moments that touched the readers heart. From the moment we were turning the pages we were hooked and could not put the book down and read it in one sitting. We are so glad we found this author we absolutely love her books and she has a knack for making us fall in love with here characters time and time again.
