First time author for us, and we really enjoyed our first read by them, and we couldn't put it down. We loved the characters of this story, they were fantastic, light and dark.

Milene was our favorite character, loved her sense of humor her backbone her kindness, how she loved her crazy cats. We also liked her in her pissed off state her horny state, she was quite the character but, most of all, she was a caring and loving kind person. We also loved how she was open to listening about Salvatore's quirks and willing to meet him halfway while he works through some of his issues. Boy, does this man have issues and for most it would be overwhelming but, for Milene we know she is up for the challenge. 

Salvatore was dark and dangerous and feared by all, but, his newest obsession is not one of them. Loved the game of cat and mouse he and his wife played it was sensual and fun, and we loved for the fact that he spent the time to woo his wife and not just forced her to take away all of her choices in her new-found life. Salvatore was quite different when he was Milene, still dangerous and protective even obsessive but, it seemed like for the first time in his life her felt something other than darkness within him. Will he be all mushy and the romantic type not likely but, one thing for sure, Milene will always know who she belongs to and will always be cherished, and he will always give his life to protect her own.

A fun and sexy read and full of a ton of chemistry, this couple were a match made in heaven. Their chemistry off the charts, their sexual encounters fun and sexy.

I can't wait to read more in this series. We loved mafia romances with the dark and dangerous villain who falls head over heel with their girl but, what I loved most about this story, it was fun and fresh and made you laugh along with having all those other elements we love. We would love to see more Mafia romances written this way. Milene's sense of humor really is what made this read a 5 stars read, it wasn't all darkness and killing and the same old same old. My kindle is loaded to catch up on this series, can't wait to see what comes next.
