Book Review for RYKER by Samantha Lind

 Release Date: May 19

After years of trying to get back home to be closer to my daughter, I finally secured a spot on the newly expanded San Francisco Shockwaves.

Juggling being the newly appointed Captain of the team and taking on full-time fatherhood to a teenager sends my life into chaos.

I quickly find myself needing someone who can pick up the pieces and keep my life in order as I certainly can’t do it alone.

I just never thought my savior would be the sexy woman next door- the one I can’t keep my mind or eyes off every chance I get.

We really enjoyed this story, it was super sweet and had enjoyable characters. Neighbors that have a connection and a daughter who is match making.

Loved the fact that Ryker was the kind of Dad who puts Ellie first and wants to make up for lost time with her. Loved how all his decisions are based on her welfare and needs and that he includes her in those decisions. We loved Ryker's personality, thought he was so down to earth, caring and loving and just an all around nice guy. The same could be said for Avery, she had all those traits also. Ellie, she was just a doll, and Ryker did hit the kid lottery with her for sure.

Loved how the super sweet romance progressed and that Avery and Ryker made the perfect couple. Not much fan fare to speak of, just a slow burn romance that turned into finding your one an only when you weren't even looking. I loved getting to know these characters, they were a fun bunch to read about and all so loveable.
