After one lapse in judgment, he decides she needs to go. But the funny thing is, he never expected Sophia Madden to fight back. And dirty at that.
Lani Lynn Vale is a natural-born storyteller! We loved this story from cover to cover, it was an emotional tale that gripes one's heart.
The characters were amazing as always, very engaging and quite loveable. We loved Haggard's and Sophie's story. The story had constant drama from beginning to end and some suspense, had a cast of awesome characters, it ended up being a page turner for us, we could not put it down.
The heart wants what the heart wants, others be damned. The chemistry between Sophia and Haggard sizzled and when in a room together it was like fireworks going off, always so much sexual tension in the room when they were in it together as they say the sparks flew!
I understood Haggard being on the fence when it came to Sophie and that the man felt that he was between a rock and a hard place, it seemed so many obstacles surrounded them until those excuses did not matter anymore. One tragic turn of events was all it took for Haggard to take what he wanted consequences to be dammed.
The story was emotional but, it was also fun and made you laugh as a couple Haggard and Sophia just worked. We loved how sweet, kind, caring, protective Haggard was with Sophia, knowing this man can be very dangerous, and deadly, we loved seeing that side of him he only with her.
Smoking Hot Read! We can't say that this story did not tug on the readers' emotions, it did just that the story made you happy and sad and even made your heart hurt but, we have to say we loved the ending as we ended the story with a smile on our face.
So looking forward to reading this new series!
