But after being gone for years, events in my life have forced me home. I don't know how I'm going to face him again, or how I'll be strong enough to resist him. He's been the love of my life for years. He just never knew it.
The story was filled with a ton of emotion, a life that is messy also about forgiveness and pain. Jacks son was just precious and melted our heart.
Christy life has turned dark he work took her there also life, and she decides the returning home is the healing she needs. We loved Christy, she was sweet, kind and loving. Christy was also a bit spicy, and we found that she made us laugh more than a few times throughout the story. Our heart broke for her, from suffering in silence for loving a man who did not love her back to witnessing unspeakable things and feeling responsible for the tragedy that occur.
Jack was a great character also a great dad, loved his job ,a man who had suffered a loss and a man who could be so dense you wanted to slap him on more than a dew occasion and say wake up and see what is right in front of you for once.
Jacks friends were awesome, we have to say that poker night had us almost peeing our pants, we never laughed so hard. LOL
Overall this story had a bit of a mystery full of suspense, love, healing, letting go of the past, and forgiveness and new beginnings. The story also touch on a subject on how our system is broke and needs to be fixed. We loved the heartfelt tale and would love to dive right into the beginning of the series and get caught up to speed and looking forward to the newest release in this ongoing series. Love when an author makes you fall in love with its characters right from the beginning because you know right them and there you are going to love what happens going forward.
I'm a stay at home mom that loves to read. Some of my favorite titles are Pride and Prejudice, Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, and Horatio Hornblower. I started writing when I was trying to come up with suggestions on ways I could help bring in some extra money. I came up with the idea that I could donate plasma because you could earn an extra $500/month. My husband responded with, "No. Find something else. Write a blog. Write a book." I didn't think I had anything to share on blog that a thousand other mothers hadn't already thought of. I decided to take his challenge seriously and sat down to write my first book, Jack. I was surprised at how much I enjoyed writing. From there, the stories continued to flow and I haven't been able to stop. I hope my readers enjoy my books as much as I enjoy writing them. Between reading, writing, and taking care of three small kids, my days are quite full.
