Loved this one this current story had many wonderful characters, and we loved them all! This story was filled with such heart and emotion, we could not put it down, and to top it off, It constantly made you want to cry with the struggles Serena had to endure on a daily basis. Serena, a young and beautiful mafia bride married off to a monster and a bodyguard, Alessandro, who pines for a woman who he believes he will never have. This couple's love story is full of pain and sorrow but, also about kindness, healing, tenderness, friendship, patience and so much more. Serena, you were a true warrior. Alessandro was a character so easy to love with his patience, kindness, devotion, love and if that wasn't enough you just melted our heart with how he was with Serena's children, there were so many precious moments. We loved the mouth watering man. Loved the slow burn story filled with compassion and chemistry, constant drama and romance, and how being friends before lovers was just what needed to happen for Serena to put herself on the path to healing oneself. We saw much growth from Serena's character, who took back her life and from that moment on would be living it on her own terms. This couple was surrounded by so much love in the mist of all the chaos but, one thing was for sure, love was worth fighting for and so were happily ever afters. Such a touching story, we absolutely loved it.
