This was a tragic love story that spanned 11 years and then some. We had a lot of mixed feelings about this story, only because we liked the characters well enough but, didn't love them. The most growth we saw from a character was Natalia in the end she really took her life back and in doing so saved a lot of lives.
The entire story was one heartbreaking and emotional roller coaster this was one tragic tale because those who were supposed to love her protect her betrayed her the most and the one who loved Natalia with all was not good enough for her because greed preceded love and happiness.
Through Natalia's life was full of heartache, she found two little someone's who love and protected her and in the end the prince never stopped loving his princess.
There were more than a few surprises in this tale, some pleasant surprises and others tragic. We were interested enough to see where this series goes. Bennett caught our interest, so we would love to read his story, he was the only one who really looked out and tried to protect Natalia and vice versa and for a Don he was like no other, and we found him fascinating.
