Release Date: March 25, 2021

Frankie Sullivan was everything I wasn’t.
She was good, beautiful and strong.
She hadn’t let her past break her.
She’d held on to the hope for a better tomorrow, not only for herself but for her two boys.
She was a woman who wanted...who deserved more.
I wasn’t a man who could give more.
I was cold, broken and full of rage.
My past had broken me.
I never allowed anyone get too close.
I’d tried to fight the pull I felt towards her.
But all the little things—her smile, her light, the feel of her skin on mine—drew me in.
It was all the little things that would become my undoing.
We are really enjoying this series! The story was heartfelt and filled with emotion had a slow burn romance and a bit of MC drama that the MC did not see coming.
We really loved Willow he was kind and compassionate and give sage advice to both Frankie and her children without breaking the kids trust or vise versa. There is no question that Willow is scary dangerous but, we saw another side of Willow this time around one that although he might out right deny that he was craving some of what his brothers had found. Willow is carrying around some hefty demons that have been dictating his happiness for some time but, one look at Frankie, and he was unable to get the brown hair haired beauty off his mind.
Frankie was a sweetheart and independent women raising two boys on her own. Frankie also comes with a ton of baggage and abusive ex all the while trying to heal from her own abusive past, run a business and try and do the best she can to keep her children happy. We loved the fact that she and Willow could relate, and we felt both were open and honest about their past, and it's one of the reasons Willow connected so well with both Frankie and with her children.
Overall we enjoyed the slow burn story that happened to be a leap of faith for both characters. The characters were awesome and easy to enjoy. My only complaint would be that I just did not feel that fiery passion between this couple. But, for this couple we believe fate intervened and gave a new lease on life for an entire family and through healing and love Willow to was able to move on from his own demons striving for the happiness he didn't think he deserved.

L. Wilder has knocked it out of the park with this one. Strap in and hold on tight. This angsty, gritty, love story will break your heart and then mend it. ~Book Club Gone Wrong
