Wow! What another amazing read by Bethany Kris! I just love this author and everything she writes. The story drew me right in from the very first pages and once I started reading it I could not put it down. The story was gripping and suspenseful and had a great cast of characters that you could not help but love them. This author impresses me each and every time I start reading a book by her, she just draws you right in and grabs your attention right from the very first pages to the very end.
I loved Alessio and Corrado story their love story was intense and filled with tons of chemistry and a lot of hotness. I just loved them both. The story was also an emotional one and one with a lot of ups and downs and I have to say that toward the very end I even teared up and my heart broke for Alessio and what he was going through.
Overall simply an amazing story that we did not want to see the end and I think we will be hearing from these characters very soon as they have a lot of unfinished business. An engrossing tale from beginning to end and you just got to love these mafia families they're dangerous and deadly but, one thing is for certain is that they just love their kids right down to their very bones.

Alessio-
Wow! Another winner in my book just loved the conclusion to Corrado and Alessio's story. The more stories I read by this author the more I fall in love with her works.
This story was gripping and intense and emotional. Alessio has become one of my favorite characters as I found him intense, deadly, sexy as sin and you could not help be drawn to the bad boy and the aura that constantly surrounds him screams "Danger Beware". I fell head over heels for him right from the very beginning. I loved seeing a different side to him this time around where we saw a side of himself that he keeps locked away.
We will say that our heart broke for him time and time again because it seems that he was always the one making sacrifices in his and Corrado's relationship until he is confronted with a decision whether Corrado is worth one more sacrifice.
Corrado has betrayed Alessio and is risking the life he has made with the man he loves but, they have unfinished business, and things left have been unsaid and unresolved and to top of all that Corrado has gone and fallen in love with a woman he was sworn to protect.
Overall we loved the complicated loved story. Alessio and Corrado are perfect for each other and are seriously hot as hell together, and they work or so it seems until Ginevra is thrown into their mix, and then she brings something else to the table that makes each man feel complete. Ginevra needs to decide whether she is in or out as these men come as a package deal each man is completely different yet have so much in common and for that fact alone this woman can have the best of both worlds when it comes to sexual gratification and love, laughter and companionship.
Loved it from beginning to end and Alessio and Corrado are not characters that you would likely forget.
Chris
We really enjoyed Chris's story, and it took us by surprise how completely different he is from his twin brother Corrado. We really enjoyed getting to know him, and we loved the fact that Chris picked a woman who was completely suited for him who was a survivor, and determined to do whatever it takes to keep her loved one's safe. Not only that, but we found Val to be strong and resilient and no matter the life's blows that were dealt to her, she managed to still be kind loving and caring, and a beautiful woman inside and out.
The chemistry between him and Val was smoking hot. What we loved about this relationship the most is that I felt that Chris courted Val's daughter right along with her to gain love and affection from both of them.
The story had a great storyline that was suspenseful and intriguing. We loved that there were allies to both Val and Chris in the most unlikely places. We loved the story from beginning to end as the story drew you right in from the very beginning and had you turning the pages to the very end. Furthermore, we are so loving this series and this Guzzi family, and I have to say that I have a bit of a soft spot for Gian.
Not only that, but we love seeing Alessio and Corrado and the other characters from other books grace the pages of this current story, as we sure do love them all.
This was a nice addition to this ongoing series and with every book I read from this author, we fall a bit more in love with her works of fiction.
Beni
This was another great read for us in this ongoing family Saga.
I loved Beni right from the very beginning of the story he was sexy, and I found that he dabbled in mischief more than a time or two but, he was also one of those bad boys that played hard until one fateful night his father has had enough and ships his twins off to mentor under another families' organization.
Beni and Bene were the complete opposite of their other brothers Corrado and Chris who were also twins. Beni and Bene were inseparable but, things are changing fast, and they are both struggling to find their own identities and being apart from one another, and I have to say one twin was fairing better than the other. You could not help but be affected emotionally personally by their struggles.
August was the kind of character that you fall in love with instantly as she is fiercely independent and smart and sexy and sassy and driven as well and these bad boy mafia types don't scare her one bit.
Overall I found the story to be sexy and engaging and had a great cast of characters that were also engaging and funny and that Camilia is downright hilarious and such a firecracker but, most of all I love that these mafia men fall in love with these women who are s fiercely strong and independent as well as beautiful and their match in every way. One thing I love most about these authors' stories is the way she writes her stories in a way that it always makes you feel like your part of them or their right along with its characters and "We just love that!". We are so loving reading about this Guzzi family and their head matriarch Gian and Cara are some of our favorite characters in this ongoing mafia series.
Marcus
I am actually sad that this series is coming to end but, we really loved being on the ride all the way through this entire series, and this final book with Marcus's and Cella story was a perfect ending to it all.
Out of the entire series, it was hard to pick a favorite couple first choice though would be Gian and Cara but, my second favorite would be Marcus's story as this story was so heartfelt and emotional and one that really engaged the reader's emotions.
I always tend to pick a favorite character and mine this time around would be Marcus. I loved Marcus from the onset of the story. We found him to be tall, dark, dangerous, sexy, loving. We loved the fact that what he was looking for in a mate or relationship is what his parents had. Not only that, but we also loved that the fact that he always put Cella and her needs before his own and considering he was the top Don of a Mafia family that told you right there that he had found something special. We loved how Cella brought out a different side of Marcus that he kept locked away. I loved too how he loved Cella's daughter as if she was his own child from the onset of meeting her as she was really a special kind of child full of love and goodness, and we loved that sassy little girl, and she was a lot of fun to read about.
Cella we found to be beautiful and sweet, kind, loving, and a knockout and full of talent and a wonderful mother and one who experienced a lot of pain for someone so young.Cella's character made us feel her pain and what this poor woman was experiencing, and we envy the love she bore her husband and her.Cella was a special kind of woman that when you found her you would do everything in your power to keep her.
Overall we love this story from beginning to end as it had a cast of wonderful characters, suspense, romance, and a family who loves their families as deeply as they love their women. This story was also had a lot of hotness and sexiness to it and Marcus's & Cella's chemistry together was just scorching hot!
Loved Bene and Vanna's story! The story was filled with a ton of emotion and revenge. This couple definitely had spark and passion and when these Guzzi men love they love hard and fast. Vanna is one of those characters you want to hate but, she makes it impossible although she pursued Bene with false intentions from the moment they met she was clearly drawn to the man. Vanna was between a rock and a hard place and it is up to fate and forgiveness whether her fate will be sealed once and for all. I loved Bene a little lost and almost seemed broken because of the changes between him and his twin or perhaps something else but, one thing for sure was the fact that Vanna was somehow his saving grace and it is only a matter of time to see which one will win the war the heart that has fallen in love with the mysterious woman or the mind which knows what needs to be done to protect his family? Loved it!
