I love reading mafia reads and this one checked all the boxes as they say it had everything from suspense, drama, emotion, revenge, secrets, love, and one that you can't help but, fall in love with its characters. I loved that this story had a strong female character who had a mind of her own and was smart and sexy and one that would never be the typical mafia wife and one that would be your match in every way in and out of the bedroom.
I loved the love story it was messy and dangerous and Alcina and Corrado made the perfect couple. Their passion ran hot and their love even stronger. This couple's chemistry was off the charts and their sexy romps even hotter.
Overall just loved the story from cover to cover and everything in between. The secrets and the lies upon lies made everything more interesting. Corrado's passion for revenge may be his undoing and if he doesn't start putting those demons he carries around with him to rest he will lose the one thing in his life that was truly worth dying for. The ending of this book just blew me away! The story also showed us what lengths some mafia women are willing to go to to protect the ones they love. I loved these fierce little warriors! For us, it was just an awesome read that had awesome characters.
