I had a lot of mixed feelings about this one although I didn't love it I didn't hate it. For me, the whole book just felt disconnected.
I really liked Hunter but, disliked Autumn and for me with this couple, the Daddy & Little thing just didn't work, I never felt a connection between these two characters to have that kind of intimate relationship although it was clear Hunter found that he likes to dominate in the bedroom. I did love that they had that connection about how it felt to be on the run and wanting to seek a safe haven and loved that they shared that common interest. Furthermore, I enjoyed learning about their pasts and how troubling it was for both of them it actually made me sad the ordeals they had to suffer through but, overall I just didn't feel that this couple meshed well together it was like one minute they hated each other and the next minute they were in love. Like warp speed and something got lost in the mix for me.
I am going to go back and read from the beginning of the series and see if we can connect with any of the other characters.
This story was just okay for me, I just couldn't connect with this cast of characters even though on the whole I really liked Hunter and his need to protect and fix things.
