This was a really emotional story with so much sadness. The MC members Chains and Iron have more in common than either new and all comes to a head when Chains fears pressures Iron into spilling his secrets but, it also puts both of them on the path of sorting out their sh** . Iron and his old lady Joy were carrying around on heck of a secret both in limbo and both in pain but, something has to give because Iron's can't keep on the way he has been going and when he is forced to spill his secrets to Chains the brother puts things in motion to start to give this couple back their lives. I loved Iron he was so loveable, kind, caring, and had the patience of a saint, but, most of all we loved how much he loved his little girl and when she was hurting it just about tore out his heart. Both of his girls have been suffering in pain for quite some time but, he is about to put an end to that and reunite his family once and for all. Joy was a character your heart just broke for. She was a survivor and stronger than she thinks but, when an opportunity presents itself she is willing to deal with her tragic past once and for all and put to rights her family that has been living in limbo for the past couple of years. My favorite character of this story though is Chains. The grizzly enforcer is more than meets the eye. There was no doubt this man was dark and dangerous but, his heart was far from black you just had to see how he was will Iron's daughter those precious moments just melted a reader's heart. Overall this story was heart-wrenching and emotional and one that makes you heartache but, it is also about putting the past to rest and moving forward and while others still seem to be in limbo. Chains and Irons's story just about tore out your heart. I loved seeing a different side of Chains this time around and I love knowing he was not alone and loved and although his circumstance is quite unique I don't know why he is fighting so hard not to accept what is clearly meant to be. You understand his fears at protecting those he loves from the dangers that come with being the enforcer of the club but, is it just that or just his own fears holding him back because from what I have seen so far from the club brothers they would never shun him for whom he chooses to love. Looking forward to figuring Chain out, and we hope he gets his head out of his a** before it's too late and looking forward to seeing how things pan out for him and hoping he deals with his past to finally putting it to rest once and for all. We were really loving this story and its characters they are all so unique and although their old ladies all come with tons of drama they were worth loving and fighting for, and they make the perfect old ladies for each and every brother who has found the love of their life so far. Thoroughly enjoyed the story from beginning to end.
