Another great book in this ongoing series. This story was fun and flirty and had a bit of drama and it had great characters that were easy to love.
Avery was a police officer who is enjoying her job and is confident and good at it but, in her personal life, she is still a bit of a wreck that her divorce has left her.
Mason was a character that we instantly loved we loved that he was funny and flirty and a man who knows what he wants and has no problem going after it even if it meant using military moves to get what he wants.
Something that starts out as a sham turns into something so much more but, things have heated up in and out of the bedroom, and not all of it good.
These characters have awesome chemistry together and made an awesome couple. Both of them are carrying around their own demons but, as a couple, they are a powerhouse.
Overall this was a cute story that we really enjoyed. The story is not full of tons of drama or suspense but it did have just enough to keep the story interesting and enough for a couple to find salvation in one another.
