A wild passion. A secret mission. One chance to take back what’s his.

Hunter Donahue is a fixer. Be it a Black Ops mission or woman’s desires, there’s no challenge he can’t master. When Hunter takes a job gathering intel for his best friend’s private security company, he expects an easy few days of work. But that changes when his target’s niece, Petra, arrives in town for the summer.
All innocence and sweet curves and way too good for him, Hunter wonders if he’s finally met his match. But no matter how hot their chemistry, he can’t allow his desires to compromise the mission, or put Petra in danger.

When a hidden element takes Hunter by surprise, turning the case, and his heart, upside down, Hunter is forced into a deadly game of cat-and-mouse, with Petra as the bait.
As the timer ticks down, closing off all his options, will Hunter find a way to save the one woman who can heal his broken soul, or will he fail the only mission that’s ever mattered?

This was a first time author for us and we have to say the although we didn't love it we didn't hate it.This story was just an okay read for us as there were parts that were good like the hot sexy scenes between the characters that were hot but, I just felt no chemistry between the two characters Hunter and Petra. The story surrounding the romance part was just down right boring and predictable.

Petra's character for me felt almost child like and this is one of the reasons we just never clicked .

Hunter on the other hand we enjoyed the sexy man who could be deadly when he wanted to but, most of the time was just down right sweet.

Overall this was and okay read for us one of those reasons was I just did not feel the chemistry with the two main characters and although they were like-able they were not love-able and we just could not connect with them on any level.

The plot had potential but, it just fell short for us .Where was the suspense that had your heart pounding?

Would I read this author again ?
Yes!  The bones of the story was there it just needed more....
