Author: Leah Sharelle

The perfect woman was out there, I had her once and I would have her again.
It was time to do something drastic. Most of my life had been spent in the shadow of my twin brother, Deck.
I was tired of being the ‘great’ Deck Johnston’s quiet underachieving twin.
I needed to break out and forge my own path in life.
I had aspirations just like Deck, I may not have wanted to be a soldier like him, but joining the police force was my perfect choice.
The next thing on my to-do list was love; find my perfect partner and be part of something special.
I found ‘The One’ then lost her minutes later … but lucky for me, I found her again years later.
There was just one problem. She used to be Deck’s.
They were just friends now, but that didn’t stop the memories of our turbulent years of fighting and arguing to cloud my brain.
So what happens when two brothers reconnect and you throw a beautiful woman into the mix?
All hell breaks loose.

What a great story that was so emotional that it broke your heart. We loved how the author brought back all our favorite characters as well. We have to say we loved Deck in His Sweetness but, in this story not so much, it just shows you how much that man changed throughout the years caring for his daughter and finding his woman. We loved Jason, and we felt a little bad for him and the fact that he always felt inferior to his brother and lacking in some way. You could see that Deck always seemed larger than life and Jason more quiet and down to earth, these twins were opposites. Our heart broke for them, as it always seemed that these two had a love-hate relationship going on and that was just downright sad. The heart wants what the heart wants and Jason's heart chose Zoe all those years ago, he has a second chance with her, and he is taking it but, his jealousy of his brother who had her first keeps rearing its ugly head into their relationship making it harder than it should be. We have to say we loved Zoe she was the bomb as she was funny and full of life and everyone loved her, and she was a loving and caring person who had a wicked sense of humor. There is no doubt that Zoe and Jason had major chemistry between them and a love that would have stood the test of time and was your one and only. When they were together in or out of bed, they were hot together. Those sex scenes are scorching! Overall, we loved this story from beginning to end. I loved seeing all those characters from the Wounded Souls grace the pages of this current story and seeing how some members have evolved and others like Darth and Mannix pretty much stayed the same. We love that Shiloh came from a woman who was strong independent and loving, seeing Shiloh grow into adulthood, she is so much like her mother in a lot of ways. Not only that, but we do agree with the author that Jason's story needed to be told, and we're so glad to have been on his and Zoe's and their incredible love story. As always, we shed more than a few tears at the end, and sitting here writing our thoughts out, it is hard not to shed a few more just thinking about that ending.

I love the idea of being in love. Since my early teens when I first discovered Silhouette Desire novels my life has been all about reading. I would find myself re-writing scenes if I wasn't happy with them and hiding them under my bed. That led me to writing love stories of my own. They all ended up under the bed and are still there, and there they will stay. I don't do angst, in fact it drives me crazy.

I am a mum of three beautiful girls, Australian, and have what most say is a weird sense of humor.

I spend my free time doing movie, Sons of Anarchy, and Friends marathons. And reading.

I love Pina Colada's and getting caught in the rain..... there's that weird humor.
