What a promising start to a brand new series.This is a brand new author for us and we really enjoyed our first read by them.The story had a great cast of characters and they were easy to connect with.I definitely felt the love within this MC the men and women were open with their affections which was a nice change but, they also were loving and caring men and women who forged amazing friendships.
Fox and Cat were High School sweethearts and so much more.Cat and Fox had some major chemistry going on and they were scorching together and were super hot together in and out of bed.
With life changes this couple grew apart but, one thing for sure is they were the love of each other lives and one never forgotten and for others their one and only.Their love story was filled with love and loss and betrayals that it nearly broke my heart and you felt the pain this couple experienced together and apart.
Cat- We loved her as she was sweet,kind caring, and was a incredible friend and one who loves with ones whole heart.
Fox- We found him to be possessive and protective ,sexy, one who loves with ones whole heart too and one that has a dominate personality but, also we loved that we wore his heart on his sleeve whether it broken or bursting with love.
Overall it was a heart felt tale with a great cast of characters with some club drama that effected innocents and the undeserving.Lost and broken Cat gives up on the life she always dreamed of but, the man that loves her beyond reason will do everything to prove to her that they deserve the life they always planned and dreamed of and her extended MC that loves her most will be rooting for their happily ever after waiting patiently from the sidelines.
Looking forward to the next in the series.
