Title: Lead Security
Series: Rogue Security & Investigation #3
Author: Evan Grace
Genre: Security Romance
Release Date: October 2, 2018

I’ve spent the last several years building my company, having zero time for a social life. I preferred it that way. After the mess my ex-wife left me with, I have no interest in anything remotely close to a relationship.
Until I meet my daughter’s new next-door neighbor.
Harley is kind, beautiful, and she’s also an erotic romance writer. To any man, she’s the perfect package. To a gun-shy man like me, she’s a one-way road to disaster.
Unfortunately for me, my daughter’s newfound friendship with Harley means I get to see more of her.
And the more I see her, the more I want her.
But my instincts are telling me there’s a danger lurking around her, following her, waiting for the right moment to strike. And the closer I get, the more I realize there’s only one way I’ll allow any threat to get near her…
and that’s over my dead body.

Let's start off by saying this is a first time author for us and I really loved my first read from them.
I will say that I am loving the characters in this story and the entire series.I loved the plot itself where it was about two people who were burned and abused emotionally from their previous partners still trying to find their way to their own happily ever after and I loved the fact that Harley was a romance author and had a pet who was a lion lop ear bunny named Fifty. Omg! loved how everyone interacted with him and loved how Jack who supposedly wasn't a fan of him constantly gave him snuggles when know one was looking lol. If I was not already in love with Jack's character from previous books I would be after the way he took care of Fifty when Harley couldn't.
This to me is one of those feel good books all about second chance happiness for two loss souls with a little bit of drama thrown into the mix.
I no doubt loved the main characters but, all the secondary characters played a big roll in making this story a great one.I loved Charlie she melted my heart the entire time throughout the story.(Charlie is Jack's grand-daughter and daughter to Delilah and Reese-Jack's daughter and son inlaw)
Favorite character is going to be Harley and that is because she was just a sweet heart.I found her to be sweet kind,love-able, one that loves with her whole heart once given, intelligent, independent.Overall a big softy at heart.
I loved the romance between Jack and Hayley as it was a love hate relationship in the beginning and that primarily rests on Jack's shoulders because he is still living in the past and needs to get over himself and stop blaming the women he desires now for someone else's past sins. The romance between the two was sweet and intense. This journey that took Jack and Harley to finding their own slice of happiness wasn't and easy one but, when you are about to lose it all in a blink of an eye it puts things in perspective for a guy wallowing in self pity.
I loved being on Harley's journey and getting too know her and all the ups and downs it brought us.I was glued to the pages from the onset of the story and finished it in one sitting.I loved it so much I started on reading Security Breach the minute it was over.
For me this is a story that goes into my list of books that can be read over and over again and never tire of as I loved all the characters in the story that created a really cute romance read for us to love.
Recommend read to all!
