Readers World Book Haven- This was a beautiful story, told sometimes with such heart breaking, gut wrenching emotion, tears are inevitable and then there's tears of joy as everything falls into its rightful place. Tissues are a must.

Author Chiah Wilder- L. Wilder wrote a beautiful story about second chances, understanding, and forgiveness. She's given the reader a seamless story with well developed characters who will stay with you well after the last page.

“Do you really think we can do that?” “I think what we have is worth fighting for. We’ve both made our mistakes, and over time, we’ll make more. But we’ve got to learn from them and find a way to move on. It won’t always be easy, but together I believe we can do anything.” I gave his hand a gentle squeeze. “Besides, you’re my goose. I don’t want to live my life without you.” Max reached for me, pulling me towards him and pressed his lips against mine; then he kissed me with all the love he’d kept bottled up inside of him for the past ten years. It was soft and tender and filled with promise. I wrapped my arms around his neck and pulled him closer until there was no space left between us. Being with him felt like home, and my entire body melted into his. I’d imagined this moment so many times, but I never dreamed it would feel this wonderful. The boy I’d once known was now a strong, self-assured man, and I couldn’t get enough of him. A low moan escaped through my parted lips as he kissed me deeper, and suddenly everything changed, becoming frantic and full of need. We were about to get carried away, when Max suddenly broke the kiss. Our breaths were short and strained as he rested his forehead against mine. “Are you sure about this?”

Another great story from from Ms. Wilder and as always we loved it from cover to cover.

One of the things I love most about this author is that she creates characters for us to love and fall in love with.We have seen Max beforehand as he has graced many pages of her MC series Satan's Fury series and also his boss Nitro.

This was really as sweet love story filled with love,romance ,a bit of suspense and second chances a we loved the plot and it had everything we love reading about  that makes a great story.The story had amazing characters that were like-able as well as love-able that added humor and emotion to the story.

For me I always pick a favorite character and mine is going to be Harper.I just loved her from the onset she was filled with spunk and had an awesome sense of humor and was also just so sweet ,kind, and loving.I loved how strong she was to survive the loss of her brother as well as her true love.

I already had a secret crush on Max from the other books he graced and especially the part he played in saving Tristen from a horrible fate.Max is a character of many layers as he can be sweet ,kind has a sense of humor is loyal to those he loves but, he has a whole other side of him where he is deadly and dangerous and mixed up in a world filled with danger,violence and death.

Max has a second chance to win back the heart of a girl that he once loved with his whole heart yet walked away from her without a second glance.Max is up to the task of making up for loss time and a whole lot of groveling on his part.Harper has other ideas when it comes to Max and as much as she still loves him she is not willing to revisit that pain and suffering she has already experienced by him leaving her once as she barely survived the first time around.

A battle of wills collide for both Harper and Max but, one thing is always been true for this couple and that they where soul mates and were meant to be together.I love being on their journey at finding their way back to each other.The story was filled with humor and tons of emotion that caused me to tear up more than once.One of those sweet romances stories that touches ones heart with some really hot sexy love scenes making things even hotter!

The story has a few twist and turns and even a few surprises but most of all we saw Max walk away from one life to start a new one which for him will be more meaningful  and loving for sure.Even though this story is a standalone Max's story he is still connected to the Satan's MC and a brother at arms just not and actual brother so we we able to catch a glimpse of a few of those characters from the Satan;s MC series as well.

I love when you can connect with the characters you read about and I was able to do that with this cast of characters as they we easy to love from the onset and had me rooting for their happily ever after knowing they we meant to be together and were true soul mates who deserved to be together.

We loved each and every page.Another page turner that we throughly enjoyed..Another job well done MS. Wilder.
