About Book

Immortal Heart
More than a century after the tragedy of Hélène's death and before Ella found Kale bruised and broken on her doorstep, Kale moved through the world in a haze of personal punishment allowing it to consume him. Until his friend, Detective Deacon, a newly infected Chorý calls on him for a favor.

In this prequel to the Few Are Angels series, Kale is thrown into a world of human blood trafficking and is introduced to a Chorý that offers him a chance at happiness— in blood.

My Thoughts

Wow ! What a great read really enjoyed this story. This is a first time author for me and I really enjoyed this story and I am looking forward to reading the rest of the books in its series.

I found this story to be very fast paced and intriguing  and as soon as I started reading this story I couldn't put the book down until I was finished it .Another sleepless night for me yet again...Not that I mind (smiles)

I really enjoyed the main characters of the story with Sola and Kale they made the perfect couple even though it wasn't a romantic one just a loving and deep friendship kind.Kale is pining for a loved one that he has lost centuries ago and has never really gotten over her.We experience his pain and suffering. He has had a hard life never really coming to terms with the whole vampire thing and also being hunted by the council hasn't improved his mood. He is lost until he finds Sola and things start to lighten up a bit.

Sola and Kale come together when he goes undercover working at her fathers company to find out who is stealing young girls and selling them as blood slaves. Sola gets caught up in this nasty business and its up to Kale to save her. But, how will she reacted when she learns who he really is ?

This story takes his through a bunch of twists and turns keeping  our interest and passing the pages with a fever. We learn more of Kales past and we grieve for him as we learn about his journey and about his century of searching for the mate he lost so long ago.I believe that Sola's kind heart helped heal him at least just a little. They would have made the perfect couple if he could have let go of the past. The couple seemed to be okay with just being friends and Kale eased Sola loneliness and also made her take a good look at her life thinking she needs to make some changes herself to insure her own happiness.

Wow! What a heart wrenching ending leaving us on pins and needles and so excited to read the next book in its series.I believe Mrs. Iversen his going to have a major hit with this series and we are wishing her much success.

This is a recommend read to all and I believe it belongs in my keeper pile.So looking forward to further installments in this series.
