Secrets are the only way to stay safe.

Esha must keep her true identity a secret or risk the life of the most important person to her. She isn’t Feldor’s princess like the kingdom of Solven thinks she is. Her goal is simple: broker a marriage between herself and Solven’s crown prince to fight a monster and save the kingdom of Feldor. She doesn’t have time for love or romance.

But the wrong prince has decided she’s the object of his desire.

Kasteel will never be king. He has never wanted the responsibilities or trappings of the crown–until her. Esha may have been meant for his younger brother, but he’ll stop at nothing to have her. Even if it means risking his life. Or revealing a secret he can’t afford to get out, a truth that could change everything.

Kasteel will pledge his hand and sword to Esha’s cause: protect the kingdoms against the monstrous netvor.

Except monsters aren’t the only things hiding in the shadows. All secrets must come out. And falling for the wrong brother might be the thing that saves them all.

Cover Reveal for Undercover Lover by Jacqueline Francis

Title: Undercover Lover
Author: Jacqueline Francis
Genre: Contemporary Romance
Tropes: Fake Dating; Forced Proximity; Billionaires/Millionaires Romance; Law Enforcement/Action Romance; Reverse Grumpy x Sunshine; Opposites Attract
Release Date: June 11, 2026

I didn’t join the force to play dress-up in designer heels and pretend to be someone’s girlfriend, but apparently life has a sense of humor. And mine comes with a six-foot-something ego, a movie-star smile, and a peculiar knack for getting under my skin.

Marco Dal Santo is everything I don’t trust: cocky, charming, reckless, and way too comfortable in a world built on smoke and mirrors. I’m supposed to use him to get close to people who hide crimes behind champagne and expensive suits. He’s supposed to be a means to an end. Convenient. Temporary. And fake.

The problem? It doesn’t really feel fake because every time he touches me, every time he pushes past my defenses and makes me feel something real, I forget that we’re supposed to be pretending.

One minute we’re trading sarcastic barbs and sharing one very inconvenient bed; the next I’m laughing at his terrible jokes and wondering how a man who looks at me with nothing but raw lust can possibly be faking it. Somewhere between the staged kisses and very real arguments, the lines get blurred, and I can’t tell what’s part of the job…and what isn’t.

Now we’re caught up in a world where one wrong move can get us killed, and I’m starting to realize the most dangerous part of this case isn’t the criminals we’re chasing.

It’s him.

Because if anyone finds out I’ve fallen for my informant, I’ll lose my badge, my mentor’s trust, and possibly my heart in the process.

So yeah…I’m in way over my head.
And the worst part?
I’m not sure I want to be rescued.

Number cruncher by day, raging romance novelist by night; Jacqueline’s creative inspiration stems from romance and all its literary and rom-com depictions. Matters of the heart are what fascinates her, because ultimately, what makes a life out of - what would ordinarily be a typical existence - is Love

From USA Today bestselling author Claudia Burgoa comes a slow-burn, mistaken-identity romance about hidden fame, second chances at life, and the woman who accidentally falls for a rockstar in disguise.

I plan other people’s love stories for a living. Perfect nights. Perfect moments. Perfect control.

So when my guitarist cancels an hour before a high-profile event, I do what any professional would do—panic quietly and pray for a miracle.

Then he walks in.

Late. Soaked from the rain. Incredibly handsome. Unapologetically charming.

A man I absolutely shouldn’t notice.

He plays music like the storm outside taught him how to feel.

He saves the night. And without meaning to, he starts unraveling mine.

I don’t know that he’s a world-famous musician in hiding.

I only know that when he looks at me, the world stops spinning.

I build love stories for other people. It’s chaotic, but it’s always strategic, straight-forward.

But this time, the one falling—hard, fast, and completely unplanned—is me.

There’s no seating chart that can contain, or explain, the storm that is Dexter Vaughn. But maybe his humor, guitars, and big heart are exactly what I need to build my own breathtaking love story.

This was an enjoyable, heartfelt, and emotional read. It explores vulnerabilities, the downside of fame, love, beautiful friendships, coping with addiction, and staying sober in difficult times. The chemistry between Alyssa and Dexter is palpable and beautiful, and Alyssa is a breath of fresh air. Unexpected changes in life and love that bring the best of both worlds are portrayed in a way that feels real and relatable. Although we are not usually fans of Rockstar romance, this author has become one of our favorites, and we read everything she writes. She did not disappoint with this book, as she skillfully immerses us in the world of the characters and makes us fall in love with them.

AT FIRST SPARK

Renee Harless

Release Date: May 20

Meet Renee Harless:

Renee Harless is a USA TODAY bestselling author with an affinity for wine and a passion for telling a good story.

Renee Harless, her husband, and children live in Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia. She studied Communication, specifically Public Relations, at Radford University.

Growing up, Renee always found a way to pursue her creativity. It began by watching endless runs of White Christmas - yes, even in the summer – and learning every word and dance from the movie. She could still sing "Sister Sister" if requested. In high school, she joined the show choir and a community theatre group, The Troubadours. After marrying the man of her dreams and moving from her hometown, she sought out a different artistic outlet – writing.

To say that Renee is a romance addict would be an understatement. When she isn’t chasing her kids around the house, working her day job, or writing, she jumps headfirst into a romance novel.

Lark Carrington came to Coral Bell Cove for a fresh start. A fading inn, a quiet life, and a chance to rebuild something steady after everything she’s lost. She didn’t expect her first real connection to come in the middle of chaos.

Holt Wright is used to being underestimated—long before he ever put on a uniform. The easygoing one. The goofball. The brother no one expected much from. Until he became a firefighter. Now, when the alarm sounds, he’s the one people trust when it matters most.

The one who shows up.

The one who stays.

Even for her.

What begins as a single moment—smoke, heat, and the steady presence of the man who pulled her back from the edge—turns into something neither of them can ignore. Long days restoring the Carrington Inn. Late nights that feel a little too honest. A connection that builds slowly… and burns deeper than either of them expected.

Because Lark doesn’t trust easily. And Holt is still learning what it means to be the man people finally believe in.

And when the past Lark tried to outrun starts to catch up with her… they’ll have to decide if this is just a spark—or something worth risking everything for.

At First Spark is a tender, slow-burning small-town romance about healing, showing up, and discovering that sometimes the person who saves you… is the one you choose to stay for.

I thoroughly enjoyed the slow-burning romance between Lark and Holt. The characters were well-developed, and the added suspense to the plot kept me engaged. From the moment I met Holt, I was immediately drawn to his genuine, kind, loving, and flirtatious. nature. His protective and helpful demeanour, along with the unwavering support and love from his family, made him a truly endearing character. His willingness to show vulnerability only made me admire him more. Lark, on the other hand, took some time to warm up to. Her guarded nature was understandable once her backstory was revealed, and her journey to opening up to others, especially with the help of a small and fuzzy companion, was heartwarming. The dynamic between Holt and Lark, with the push and pull in their relationship, added depth to the story. Holt knew when to gently push Lark out of her comfort zone and when to give her space. The progression of the romance between the couple was sweet and heartwarming, showcasing growth, healing, trust-building, and the formation of a found family. The supporting characters, especially Holt's family, provided a comforting presence for Lark and added a sense of warmth to the story. Lark's friend Nolan remained a mysterious figure, keeping me intrigued with his motives. The suspense and mystery elements in the plot kept me guessing and added an exciting twist to the story. Overall, I found the plot engaging, hopeful, and delightful. I am eagerly anticipating the next release in this series.
