Book Review for Father by Clarissa Wild

Father

Clarissa Wild

Publication date: April 25th 2017
Genres: Adult, Romance

Confess your sin.

People call me Father, but I prefer Frank because I’m the worst preacher you’ll ever meet.
Days spent completely wasted pull a number on you, especially when you’ve got a truckload of baggage that comes with it.
Until this beautiful girl in the back of the church takes my breath away.
…And we end up committing sacrilege in the confessional.
Did I mention I’m filthy?
Bad doesn’t even begin to describe me, and after one taste of what she’s got to offer, I want more.
Too bad having a dirty mind isn’t the only thing we’ve got in common…
Our past is laced with sin.

Author’s Note: This book is not for everyone. It’s raw. It’s vulgar. It’s downright offensive. But it’s oh so damn delicious with a capital D. If you are easily offended or prudish, please don’t read this book. But if you like a bit of humor mixed in with raunchiness and brawling, you’ll love this book.

Contains disturbing situations, strong language, and graphic violence.

Our Review
Lets start of by saying this is our first book by this author and we loved it!I have to say that this story was really very dark, edgy, very erotic, intense, raunchy, violent ,emotional had offensive situations, taboo elements. I have to say that it made me uneasy at times as the story progressed as it always had you on pins and needles and excited on what was going to happen next.I love reading Dark Romances with dangerous characters that are violent, twisted who have a  tortured soul as you know its going to be a very intense read especially when the story is about a Preacher who used to be and killer and a ex gang member bad boy.

Warning this is a very dark story with a intense story line and is not for the faint of heart or the very religious as there are a lot of taboo elements throughout the story and Highly Erotic. Fifty shades of Grey read was very tame compared to this story.

Omg a story that blew me away from the very first pages as it was a page turner that had such a heart gripping intense story.I loved the characters especially the stern mother filled with love for her destructive son,the sweet girl friend Laura along with the f-ed up preacher with tons of emotional baggage along with his loyal friends who stuck with him no matter what dark and dangerous and destructive path Frank was on.

A tragic story of loss for both Frank and Laura who both lost so much.Franks because of the life he used to live and the enemies he made and Laura's because her mom was caught in the crossfire of a situation gone wrong. This couple had amazing chemistry together that sizzled throughout the pages and made an awesome couple .Laura is Franks perfect mate as she is sweet innocent and loving with a big heart, forgiving,a listener, non judgmental adventurous as well as tough as nails, independent but, also likes her sex as dirty as he does . Franks no match for her she as known true evil as her father is evil and treacherous as they come so she is used to dark and dangerous men.Perhaps she was drawn to Frank at first because he is just like her father and seeks a bit of danger and adventure but what really she saw was that he had true goodness within him and was capable and loving and caring for another soul and souls among all that brokenness.

I alway pick a favorite character in a story and mine is going to be Frank. Why ? Where to start he's broken and damaged, violent, highly sexual, talks dirty, likes his sex intense and dirty, and is always acting on his sexual needs in the most inappropriate places like in his church,on his alter and in his confessional. Definitely OMG moments with pantie wetting outcomes !I could not help but be drawn to this broken man with so many different faucets of his personality. Violent dark and dangerous one minute and yet loved his mother with his whole heart and hated hurting her with his destructive behavior helping his flock of those who see saw going down a dangerous path.I loved that he never hid his past what he was what he is, I loved how he opened up with his story to others about his own past misdeeds to prevent them from making the same mistakes he did.Who better to explain the danger and sins and regrets to them then one who lived them and lost all the meant most to him.

Loved it cover to cover and I was enthralled from the very beginning .I story with ups and downs, secrets coming to life, healing, forgiveness, danger and many twists and turns and very emotional  that effects the fate of Laura her brothers and Frank. This story definitely tugged on your emotions and heart having you also feeling pain, sadness and sorrow for the characters you were reading about.

I loved when your able to connect with the characters you read about and I was able to do that with these main characters. You could not help but be drawn to them experiencing their pain sorrow and regrets and well as the love and forgiveness right along with them. Its nice to read a story every now and then that is not within your comfort zone and something edgy as it makes that read even more enjoyable because your doing something new and adventurous has you living on the wild-side yourself if on for a little while.I love story that is tragic yet rewarding once you overcome all the hurtles that are placed in ones path .

As dark as the story was it did bring several chuckles as some laughs tucked in there to.My favorite scene in the entire story had to be the prude of the mom confessing to the father that her son was jerking off and what a sin it was. Omg I laughed so hard I thought I would pee my pants .I am still laughing as I am writing this ...(grinning)

A recommend read  to all who like Dark Romances and sex outside of the box and the forbidden taboo elements and really erotic novels. This is the type of story that was so gripping that it has you thinking about it even after its over as it stays with you for awhile.Goes into the keeper pile and I would definitely read this author again.

We are giving it 5 stars

A personal note: If you enjoyed this story as much as I did check out Tiffany Reisz's Original Sinners stories its starts out with a Jesuit Priest who falls in love with a fifteen old girl who he knows is destined to be his.
Soren is a sadist who lives the bdsm lifestyle in secret with not one lover but two
Soren, Nora aka Eleanor and Kingsley have some amazing adventures together!

EXCERPT:
She turns her attention to me as she rubs her forehead with her towel. “Well, well, what a coincidence.”
I smile and enjoy the view. No point in denying anything, especially since there’s been no allegation. Yet.
“So Bruno already found you. Are you stalking us or something?” she asks, raising a brow.
Ah-ha, there it is.
“Nah.” I grin. “Just your friendly neighborhood preacher patrolling the area.”
She rolls her eyes, but I can tell she’s barely able to keep the laughter inside.
“Got something to confess?” I ask.
She snorts. “Like you don’t already know everything.”
“I do!” Bruno raises his hand.
“Oh, yeah? Tell me then, what’d you do?” I inquire, inching closer.
He closes his mouth and freezes, so I lean in even closer and pat the bench. “Sit.”
He does what I ask, and then I turn my ear to him so he can whisper.
“I peed in the sandbox.”
My grin turns into a full-on outburst of laughter.
“What?” Laura asks.
I turn my face to Bruno and whisper back into his ear, “Is that the real reason you didn’t wanna play in the sandbox anymore?”
He nods.
“What?!” Laura’s voice is even louder this time, and she’s even thrown her towel over her shoulder like some kind of statement.
Bruno looks at me as if he’s pleading me not to tell her—probably because she’d get mad and rightfully so. But I think I’ll play along with this game.
So I twine my fingers and smile like a motherfucker. “I’m sorry. Confessions made to a preacher are strictly confidential.”
Oh, that look on her face right now.
Blood-boiling rage.
Magnificent.
“Frank …” she hisses.
I shrug, still smiling as I lean back.
“He did something; you gotta tell me. This isn’t a joke,” she grumbles. “What if it’s something embarrassing or wrong?”
“You mean like that thing we did in church?”
Her eyes widen, and the shock on her face is amazing to see.
“What thing?” Bruno asks.
“Nothing!” Laura hisses. “Frank …”
I look at Bruno and say, “Bruno. If you say you’re sorry, your sins will be forgiven.”
“Does that mean God forgives me too?”
I nod. It’s hard to explain these things to a kid as young as he is.
He draws a cute cross on his chest and mumbles, “I’m sorry.”
“Good.” I pat his back and then look at Laura. “See? He’s repenting, so he’s forgiven of his sins.”
She narrows her eyes and snarls at me. “You are so bad.”
