Our Review

I have always been a big fan of Samantha Holt's Historical Romance Novels. But I have to say that this Victorian Romance "Tempting His Mistress" was such a breath of fresh air. I absolutely fell in love with the two main characters Lilly and Evan. Strong, spirited, willful Lilly and Stubborn, Angry, Arrogant but damned good looking Evan.

Lilly is the daughter of a Mistress and Evan comes from money. They are from opposite ends of the world with one thing in common her Father. From the start she is snippy and feisty when she meets Evan and he is short and obtuse but very intrigued. Something about this fiery woman keeps drawing him to her. And when his brother threatens to take that away he makes his move and does the one thing she vowed to never let happen.

The relationship that builds between them is slow, and bumpy to say the least but oh man is it good. Samantha whips up some truly amazing tender moments between them. And just when you think Lilly has finally broken through that brick wall Evan has around him his horns come out and back several steps they go until it looks like he has pushed her away for good.

I won't tell how the book ends - you have to get your copy today - don't delay because this is hands down a 5 STAR READ and then some.....
