Blog Tour & Giveaway for The Aloha's Mate with Author R.E.Butler

Wilde Creek Series
The Wilde Creek series was created in an attempt to write a darker, more intense werewolf series.  The Wilde Creek Pack is archaic in their beliefs that humans and wolves should not interact, but the alpha’s sister throws a wrench into their lives and changes things forever.  Follow the members of the pack as they navigate this new world, find their mates, and make Wilde Creek their home.

Mate of Her Heart

Werewolf Eveny Moore is coming into her first heat at the age of twenty-five. Bucking tradition, she chooses to go through her first heat alone instead of choosing an unmated male from her pack. There is only one male that she wants in her bed and her life: her best friend, Luke Elrich. But Luke is human and doesn’t understand the consequences of her heat-cycle, so she hides out in a safehouse, planning to ride out the cycle alone and then ask Luke to be her mate.

Luke has loved Eveny forever, but something is going on between them. He’s afraid he’s losing her forever, until she promises to talk to him after her heat-cycle is over. He overhears her brother, the pack alpha, ask another wolf to go to Eveny and take her through the heat-cycle. What her brother doesn’t know is that the male plans to invite some of his friends along. And Eveny is alone in a remote cabin, unprotected. Luke will do anything to keep her safe, even if it means going up against four wolves.

This story contains a meddling brother, a human fighting a pack of male wolves for the only woman he’s ever loved, a female who thought she had a good plan, and bone-melting, skin-tingling hot sex between a male and a female who have loved each other forever.

 R.E. Butler's Alpha's Heart:
Staring into the bottom of his empty glass, he knew he was totally sloshed and that was probably where his ‘wishing for things he couldn’t ever have’ attitude was coming from.  He’d be better off going home and sleeping off the booze and then getting ready for the full moon.  Too drunk to drive, he started to walk home, but caught the scent of something that made everything in his body go tight and hot.  He found the source of the scent.
A woman.
His woman.
Mine.

Alpha wolf Acksel wakes up one morning in the bed of the one human who was kind to him in school. Now, ten years later, Brynn Mara is snuggled up at his side, smelling like passion and sweet dreams. Even though Acksel has declared that his pack members can mate with humans from now on, he knows that any woman he takes as his mate will have a target on her back. Especially if she’s a fragile human. Deciding it’s better to cut things off than string her along when there’s no hope for a relationship, he leaves without a word and ignores her.

But it doesn’t matter if Acksel acknowledges her or not, because their night of passion has left a permanent reminder of what happens when one drunk wolf forgets protection. Angry, banished wolves from his pack discover Brynn’s secret and decide to use her against Acksel. His worst fears have come true, and the only woman who ever touched his heart is now suffering because of his mistake.

This book contains one ticked off, emotionally damaged alpha, the human woman who can tame him, and a sweet little surprise that no one expected.

R.E. Butler's Alpha's Heart
Standing slowly, she walked to the door.  “Who is it?” she called loudly.  Her mind raced.  Her dad and Mia both had keys to her place and wouldn’t be banging on the door in the middle of the night.

“Open the door.  I just want to see you.”

No.  Way.

There was no possible way on earth that Acksel Moore was banging on her door at this hour.  Or any hour, for that matter.

She flipped on the switch to turn on the porch light and drew in a deep breath.  The lock clicked as she turned it and pulled the door open.  Standing in the harsh light was the most gorgeous man she’d ever known.  The star of every dirty fantasy she’d ever had.

And he looked like someone had shot his puppy.

His gray eyes were red and he reeked of whiskey.  His strong jaw was covered with stubble as if he hadn’t shaved in days.  He leaned heavily on the door frame.

“I just want someone to care.”  His words were raw, his tone rough and full of despair.

Her heart cracked painfully as he slumped forward, too drunk to stay on his feet.  She managed to ease his fall to the floor so he didn’t get hurt.  Leaning over, she stroked his forehead.  “Oh Acksel, I always cared.

 R.E. Butler's Alpha's Heart
She turned suddenly and placed her hands on his face.  There was only the briefest of pauses before she went on her toes and pressed her lips against his.  The roar of blood in his ears was second only to his wolf howling in happiness that she was kissing him willingly and not because it was bedtime.  Her hands slid around to his shoulders and she pulled him close, swiping her tongue against his lips until he opened his mouth for her.

Most of the kisses they’d shared had been of the chaste sort, closed mouths or just the lightest touch of tongues.  But when he’d kissed her earlier in the day and the decadent flavor of her had hit him full force, he’d been unable to think of anything but kissing her again and again.

He released his grip on the railing and wrapped his arms around her, kissing her deeply, chasing her tongue and devouring her with every ounce of passion he possessed.  The air was cool around them, but the heat between them scorched him from the inside out.

He wanted to be burned by her.  It was the sweetest agony.

They eased away from each other slowly and his wolf snarled at the loss of her warmth.

She turned in his arms and looked out into the darkness.  She snuggled into him and he kept his arms around her.  He could see better than she could in the darkness, making out the glint of the churning water below, but she seemed to enjoy herself, and he didn’t want to break whatever peaceful spell had surrounded them.

Their quest will soon take them outside the borders of Faerie, to hostile and unwelcoming lands beyond.
On their travels, Tania and her companions encounter danger at every turn as they battle pirates, contend with mysterious and mystical beings, and try to outwit those under the sinister grip of the Dark Arts. But when Tania's beloved Edric appears, it looks as if they have help at last. Or do they? Anita must reawaken Tania, her Faerie self…but how? And who can she trust when not even her memories are safe? Her quest leads to a thrilling final battle, with her own destiny—as well as the fate of both Faerie and the Mortal World—at stake.

She said . . .
Caedmon of Larkspur is the most loathsome lout I have ever encountered! When my sisters and I arrived at his castle, we were greeted by servants and children running wild, while Caedmon lied abed after a night of ale. No doubt there will be another child soon, because I must admit he's as handsome as he is virile. And I must endure him, for we are in desperate need of protection, though I can only imagine what this knight will demand of me in return . . .
He said . . .
After nine long months in the king's service, all I wanted was peace . . . not five Viking princesses running my keep. And the fiery redhead who burst into my chamber that first morning is the worst of all. Why, I should kick her out . . . but I have a much more wickedly delightful plan for Breanne of Stoneheim, one that will leave her a Viking in lust.

My Thoughts and Review

Let me start out by saying I love Sandra Hills books and I am a big fan of her books.Sandra's books for me have all the things that make up a great read for me. This book was funny sexual had me laughing so hard at some points and others crying out my eyes.I don't think I have read a book this year that I laughed so hard.

Normally the books are written about the Viking being the male of the book but, this time around it was about 5 Viking Norse princesses and one of them finding love. The Viking princesses are all sisters 4 of them come to visit there sister when they arrive to sister there sister beaten to a pulp and has a broken arm. Things get out of hand a somebody ends up dead so they conspire together to form a plan to get rid of the body and flee to safety until they can get word to the father the King for protection.

The sister end up at a small estate a cousin to her sisters cousin and ask for his permission to stay until the can make arrangements to go home. Things at this keep are in disrepair and the princesses set to righting immediately once there. Its all a flurry a run down keep and 10 children running around all the owners children.

The interactions from then on between Caedmon of Larkspur and Breanne the feisty princess gave you much entertainment. The both had a way with words making to chuckle quiet a lot.She needs to protect her sisters and must get him to give them protection after spilling the entire truth of what happen. He wants them gone as they will be nothing but trouble until her poses that Breanne must share his bed for 10 days and do all willing things he asks.

The journey beings of a passionate romance and a developing friendship. The children are falling in love with there princess and do not want her to go but, Caedmon wants no marriage nor wife or children.
The children will not give up. The is danger lurking and he must find a way to avoid it.

The characters all in this book made it work the children did there parts to make the book funny with some of the stuff that came out of there mouth you would not expect had you laughing so hard and in shock.Breanne my favorite with her quick whit and sharp tongue.Caedmon camaraderie with is friends and there loyalty were endearing. The princess doing all kinds of deeds that servants do and never complaining and enjoying every minute of it not what you would expect. Seeing genuine love and affection in a house of servants friends and the children was a nice tough also..

The best part of the book though for me is the final act that the children make to nab a princess for there mother you won't want to miss.A Recommended read for all I never had so many laughs in one book it was a treat and delightful read !

My Thoughts and Review

Standing in at the Library I saw the cover of this book and picked it up without reading what it was about.Ever do that?Well glad I did. This is my first book by Laurie and hope to read more of her books it was a fabulous read right from the first page. The book had tons to keep you interested in. A story plot of good Guardian vampires protecting the Sweetbloods from Rogue vampires.Something about a Sweetblood's blood is additive like crack. The characters of the book were engaging and lots of fun to read about.

Jackson and Arianna were the main characters of the book the were quirky and fun.The two developed a romance after he goes to protect her from her own miss deeds. She runs a paranormal blog and she writes about paranormal activities. She witnessed a kidnapping of her cousin and got it on camera and reported all of this on her blog exposing herself and vampires to the whole world creating tons of danger.

The two develop and light fun romance and of course filled with tons danger but, it seems that Arianna will turn out to be his savior and maybe not the other way around. The book was action packed from beginning to the end with all kinds of things going on and a mystery to solve as well.It was a light fun read that I finished in a couple of hours and would recommended it to all readers

Now, Eleanor has reappeared on Hart's doorstep, with scandalous nude photographs of Hart taken long ago. Intrigued by the challenge in her blue eyes--and aroused by her charming, no-nonsense determination--Hart wonders if his young love has come to ruin him . . . or save him.

My Thoughts and Review

Have to say that Eleanor was my favorite character in this book and made it a whole lot of fun used to be engaged to hart MacKenzie many years ago but, someone came between them and upset there engagement and unfortunately it had ended not on a friendly note.

Many years later Eleanor still love her long lost Duke and comes to him when she starting receiving nude photos of him take when he was a young man, Being a Duke now and running for political office these photos must not surface and ruin his chance at something he has work so hard for all his driven life !

This story had many things going on in it.The Duke is a driven man with a tortured past who does what he does for his family of brothers. He is a hardened man who people fear. But, Eleanor is the only one who can thaw Harts heart and is also his weakness. This couple made a great pair and Eleanor is the one women strong enough to chip away at his heart of armor. She has quick whit and a sassy personality.

The other characters of the book make it successful too. Harts brothers are so different lending there personalities to the story as well and also there wives. The story had all the things that made a good book you laugh ,it had a mystery too it to solve, likable characters and a nice easy romance long over do.But,also the book had you feeling Harts real pain and suffering that you could relate to knowing he just needs the right women to heal him to have the same life that his brothers have .The book was part of a continuing series and an enjoyable read.

What was nice to see also in this story that was out of the ordinary was how Lady Eleanor Ramsay is not a up tight miss who follows the rules of society but a adventurous sort which will surprise you so your in for a real treat. As always looking forward to Jennifer's next novel...

Summoned for one final assignment, the excitement of her former life and memories of her mysterious, flirtatious boss "Sir" prove too tempting....

Secrets that have a price. Now, as a veil of secrecy frays, a tantalizing game of cat and mouse will test the bounds of unfailing love...

My Thoughts and Review

Wow ! This book was fun witty and full of surprises I absolutely love it and if I could give it more than 5 stars I would. What a page turner!
There was so much going on in the front line and the background also. The characters were great they all had personalities that were likeabe and also funny and one even on the more cautious side lending there humor to the story to make it a fun filled enjoyable read.

Eve used to be a spy. Eve is now though retired and married happily to Adrian Hadley-Attwater who is now an Earl and she is a countess .She is loving her new life even though at times it might be just a little boring.Eve is called back into service to fret out a spy who has stolen a file containing all the information about all the operatives they have in service. She needs to fret the thief out and bring this thief or spy to justice and this case to a close as soon as possible. Not wanting to do this as she is happily married and does not want to lose her husband due to her past she must find a way to go about and find the culprit and silence him or her once and for all .

Adrian is the suspicious sort and notices his wifes strange behavior. He follows her about and spies on her thinking she is having and affair.Boy, is he so wrong and is now eating crow every time he intervenes he draws even more conclusions getting him in even deeper hot water. The situations that Adrian creates for himself are hilarious !

Without giving away the rest of the plot and story you get the gist. Eve in a sense leads are husband on a merry chase even though she doesn't realize it.Her husband though has a very big secret of his own.Though it is true they need to catch the person responsible for taking the list and retrieving it as it endangers all parties a much bigger scheme is going on and another plot on top of that as the mystery unravels so do the clues to solve all the mysteries floating about.

I have to say that Eve and Celeste made this book really enjoyable with there big personalities quick whit and fun and loving nature. They had me laughing all throughout the book. And then the was Adrian who did nothing but cause havoc creating these all so hilarious situations he got himself into all over his jealousy over Eve and watching him try and get out of them was a hoot !

There was so much going on to keep you interested .Had a bit of romance a mystery and definitely tons of laughs for sure. I loved it.A Recommended read to all !Its in the keeper pile for sure for a re-read when one needs a good laugh.Been reading this author for 20 years and still love her !
