About Book

All Airel ever wanted was to be normal, to disappear into the crowd. But bloodlines can produce surprises, like an incredible ability to heal. Then there’s Michael Alexander, the new guy in school, who is impossibly gorgeous…and captivated by her. Somewhere in the back of her mind, she can hear the sound of pages turning, and another, older story being written. It is the story of an ancient family, of great warriors, of the Sword of Light, and the struggle against an evil so terrible, so far-reaching, that it threatens everything. Airel knew change would be an inevitable part of life. But can she hold on when murder and darkness begin to close in and take away everything she loves? Will she have what it takes when the truth is finally revealed?

My Thoughts

If you like Paranormal Romance you will so love this book. It is Book 1 in the Ariel Saga. I have always loved Paranormal Sci-Fi type books but this one was amazing – non stop from the time you start till the end and you can’t wait to get into book two “Michael”. Airel is your typical teenage girl, has a best friend Kim that she shares everything with and they know each other inside and out (or do they) then in comes the man of her dreams “Michael” she is drawn to him like a magnet but at the same time she’s going through some really strange things in her life, things she can’t explain.
She’s been getting sick a lot, but at the same time becoming more beautiful, is that possible? But when she passes out and hits her head, what happens after is the beginning of a whole new life, she has yet to even realize it. A double date, a murder, kidnapping and a secret that is unbelievable but is happening to her. Then betrayal
This story goes between times present and past and weaves them both together, and the writer did an amazing job bringing all the characters from the past to the present and intertwining them. From the main characters Airel, Michael, Kreios, Kim & the Seer, to the side characters that add to the story. Superbly written book
Get the book today you wont regret it and trust me when I say no sooner do you finish this you are running to get “Michael”
